Gijutsu Gijutsu No Mi (Tech-Tech fruit) [WIP] L_19363_Hala-Fruit-Reddit
Devil Fruit Appearance: The Gijutsu Gijutsu No Mi resembles a Hala fruit (interior and exterior) but with malachite green coloring and darker green swirls. The exterior is made up of 200 wedge shaped segments, also known as "keys". The first few keys can be removed with the claw of a hammer, and chewing on the center of one key is enough to give the user this ability.

Devil Fruit Description: The Gijutsu Gijutsu No Mi gives its consumer the power of Technokinesis, or the ability to easily construct, repair, control, or sabotage technology.

Fighting Style: Gijutsu Gijutsu No Mi
Weapon Utilization: Yes
Description: Robert is able to manipulate technology. However he'll need to have a mental blueprint of it first, and be touching it or have touched at least 10 minutes beforehand (and keep it within view) to manipulate it. He can also use shadow rings, which serve as a sort of supernatural hand, allowing him to control any piece of technology that falls within their perimeter, as long as he has a virtual blueprint of that piece of technology. For instance, due to having served for a short period of time in the Marines, Robert has handled many of the weapons they use, allowing him to form mental blueprints of those weapons. However, if he were to go up against someone wielding, say, the Clima-tact, he wouldn't be able to manipulate it unless he was able to get his hands on it long enough to form a mental blueprint of its inner workings.

Besides the need for physical contact, Robert's ability is also hampered by several other factors:
concentration, familiarity, materials, and time. He can't manipulate technology without becoming familiar with it first, by forming a virtual blueprint of it in his mind. He requires concentration and time to do this, as well as construct or repair a piece of technology. If he's interrupted he'll have to redo everything. He also requires parts to build machines, as he can't simply make them appear out of thin air.

Toggled and Passive Abilities:
Passive
Blueprint
Robert touches a piece of technology and forms a mental blueprint of its inner workings. Once he has this blueprint down Robert will be able to manipulate this piece of technology or any others with a similar design as long as they remain in his field of vision. If he doesn't have a prior blueprint, he won't be able to control that piece of technology. Also, if the machine is damaged, the mental blueprint becomes less reliable.

Build
Robert constructs a piece of technology by holding one piece of it, and letting the rest of the pieces assemble around it.

Detect
Robert snaps his fingers, and a visual map of all the technology within a 5 meter radius forms in his mind. He can also sense what technology he'll be able to manipulate.

Disassemble
Robert breaks a machine down into its component parts.

Lock
Robert has built specialized keyless locks that only open when he touches the containers they're locking.

Repair
Robert repairs a piece of technology.

Watch Repair
Robert tosses the various pieces of his pocket watch into the air while holding its gold casing. As they fall back down, the various pieces reassemble within the casing, effectively rebuilding the watch in his hand.

Replace
Robert can easily replace any lost limb or organ with a machine equivalent, without any side effects. To date, he's only needed to replace his left middle finger.

Sabotage
Robert damages or disables a piece of technology.

Toggled
Sensor Bugs (+20% RX, -20%ATK)
Robert unleashes small bug-like automata that discreetly fly to different points around the enemy. He can then use built in cameras on the automata to sense which part of the body the enemy will use next and giving him an increase in reflexive action.

Reaper Trap

Flavour: Robert uses the same set of specialized knuckles , only with one of the blades rotating backwards to create a pincer. This pincer can trap a sword or the handle of an axe, preventing it from being used on him.

Flavour: Robert snaps his fingers, creating a shadow ring that expands to 5 meters. Any gun or other long range device jams, preventing it from firing.

Flavour: If an enemy hardens their skin or creates armor, Robert uses a hand drill strapped to his arm to drill part of it away. He can then shoot the exposed area before the enemy has the chance to reapply the skin or armor.

Flavour: Robert throws an explosive device. Once it's close enough to its intended target, he snaps his fingers, causing it to explode. However, the device must remain within his field of vision for him to detonate it.

Flavour: Robert sets three small automatons on the ground or into the air that proceed to move towards the enemy. Much like timed release, once they're close enough, he snaps his fingers, causing them to explode.

Flavour: Robert uses rocket like devices in his shoes to propel him briefly into the air, allowing him to dodge attacks.

Flavour: Robert kicks the enemy, at the same time using the aforementioned devices in his shoes to assault the enemy with an explosive burst. Also aforementioned, the explosion will cause him to propel away from the enemy.
