A figure so unfortunate-looking that even the rats tend to feel bad for the boy. Frail would be the easiest way to describe him as he doesn't look very useful at a glance. He has heavy eyebags due to the lack of sleep. His hands are full of calluses that have been hardened due to the endless amounts of heavy lifting and chores he was forced to do as a chore boy.

With a dream for exploration, Nappy Sue is always curious of anything and everything that crosses his path. Never a moment of hesitation when it comes to exploring, he usually is an "act first, think later" type of person and likes to jump into decisions whether regrettable or not. His curiosity is not always backed up by intellect however which tends to lead to reckless behavior. Because of this, his recklessness combined with no sense of direction and insomnia ends up throwing him into rather unique situations (most tend to be unlucky).
Nappy does not really trust people and only tends to cooperate if he could gain something out of it. Learning from his pirate past, he will suddenly speak little to none when around people. He will do his best to respect them under the wishes of his father, but will tend to overthink oftentimes when it comes to making decisions with people involved. He especially is not very fond of pirates due to his past, but will not recklessly throw himself into fights with them.
In combat, Nappy Sue would rather run away knowing that his strength is more on reconnaissance rather than physical, but when the situation is unavoidable, he will not be opposed to it. Though not very geared up for combat, Nappy better aim than an average being thanks to his devil fruit ability (Shutter-Shutter Fruit) and uses that to throw whatever he can get his hands on.

Those were the last words of his father before he had passed. Nappy Sue had already lost his mother at birth. So his father had been raising him diligently until he had caught a strange illness that had led to his death. Nappy Sue ultimately decided that he would answer to the call of the sea. He would go out into sea on a old boat of his former father when he was twelve years old. Not preparing ahead of time being the dumb twelve year old he was, Nappy Sue ran out of food after only a few days. Famished and parched, Nappy Sue decided to sleep to converse his remaining energy which led to him waking up to a gang of pirates surrounding him at gun point. Thus became the life of Nappy Sue the chore boy.
Two years of living under fear of these pirates, Nappy Sue still was not sure if there was a deity who was giving him a chance to live or turning his life into a joke for many to laugh at. The pirates bullied him day and night and gave him all kinds of chores they were too lazy to do. Regardless, he was fed scraps and able to breathe for now so he didn't think too much of it. He couldn't do much considering that one slip of the tongue could lead him to getting fed to the sea kings. With his body, it was much easier to keep quiet. Upon finding a devil fruit (Kassha Kassha no Mi), the crew decided to tie him up and feed him to see what it would do to him. If they were lucky, they could sell him off to a slave trader for a extra beri. Seemingly having no visual effect, the pirates decided to let him go. Nappy Sue on the other hand, went through the roughest nights he's had to experience yet. While he is able to zoom into views closer like how a telescope or a spyglass would, his ability founded by him accidentally flinching and blinking had only scared him even more as he was used to flinching when dealing with his crew which would feel as if he is engraving memories into his head. His new found insomnia had also drained his body mentally and physically. Nappy feared if this nightmare was going to be the rest of his life.
Until one day, Nappy was awaken by a big explosion and screaming. The young boy had run out to find a ship even bigger than the one was on firing at the poor crew's newly shattered dreams. Was this the end of his journey already?
The 14 year old luckily had found himself awake at the shore of some island. With everything taken away from him except his own body, what will await the young explorer this time?
