and
Promotion Mechanics



This is where you will find information regarding the process of obtaining Important World Positions.

If you meet the requirements for a certain position, and are interested in applying for it, please contact a Mod or Admin via PM listing how you meet each of the requirements. (Please provide appropriate links for proof.)

You cannot apply for a position if it is currently at maximum capacity, unless the position is filled by an NPC. In this case, you may still apply for it. If you are qualified, the NPC will be queued for demotion through an appropriate story event.

WORLD GOVERNMENT




COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF (Max: 1)
Bonuses:


All Fleet Admiral bonuses apply.
Income: +50% multiplier to base monetary quest rewards.
Command: Can give general instructions to the Fleet Admiral, which the Fleet Admiral is obligated to act upon.
Command: Can dismiss admirals from service. (Must provide legible RP reason.)
Command: Can command all Cipher Pol agencies except CP-0.
Requirements:


Previous Service: Must have served as a Fleet Admiral in at least 2 World Events.


GOROSEI (Max: 5)
Bonuses:


All Celestial Dragon bonuses apply.
Endgame stats +200: If you have served as a Gorosei the longest among all Gorosei, you will gain a +200 stat bonus. You will keep this even if you lose your position.
Income: +50% multiplier to base monetary quest rewards.
Command: Can order Fleet Admiral and Admirals towards a specific goal.
Command: Can dismiss Fleet Admiral or an Admiral from service.
Command: Can order all Cipher Pol chiefs towards a specific goal.
Command: Can create a World Event and set its terms. (Must be lore friendly and approved by an admin.)
Command: Can revoke the status of a Celestial Dragon. (Must provide legible RP reason.)
Command: Can assign or revoke the status of a Shichibukai. (Must provide legible RP reason.)
Requirements:


Character Level 100: Must completely overhaul your level 100 character (bio, DF claim, Face Claim, Techniques, everything) to turn him into a Gorosei.
Quality Score A+: Must have achieved a quality score of A or higher in at least 2 World Events.
Character Age 70+: Your new character must be 70+ years old to fit the title of the position—"Five Elder Stars".
Consensus: All Gorosei must be agreed on a command before that command can be executed.


CELESTIAL DRAGONS (Max: 18, unless related)
Bonuses:


Income: +200% multiplier to base monetary quest rewards.
Command: Can demand an intervention from an Admiral or a CP-0 agent (chief not included) in any thread if attacked. (Must provide legible RP reason.) (Note that the Admiral may not interfere for another 5 rounds of posts, so you may still be hurt or killed before that point if you remain in combat. And if an Admiral defeats a Quest Boss for you, you will not receive that Quest Boss’ difficulty multiplier. Same applies for a CP-0 agent, but CP-0 agents can be summoned within 3 turns instead of 5.)
Command: All characters must kneel and bow in your presence or risk your wrath.
Requirements:


Character Level 60: Must be at least level 60.
Quality Score A+: Must have achieved a quality score of A or higher in at least 2 World Events.
New Character Slot: The Celestial Dragon character must be created using a new character account unless you are replacing your previous level 60+ character.
Level reset: The new character must start at level 1 unless you are replacing your level 60+ character, in which case you may start your Celestial Dragon at the same level as your previous character.
Naming and history approval: While you will have some degree of freedom towards creating your character’s history and name, if all of the Celestial Dragon families have already been established, you must work with the existing lore.




CIPHER POL




CP0 CHIEF (Max: 1)
Bonuses:


Endgame stats +200: If your crew’s total player levels add up to the highest among all Yonkou, you will obtain a +200 endgame boss stat bonus. You will keep this bonus even if you lose your position.
Income +30%: +30% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards, +25% for your second-in-command.
Command: Can command all CP0 agents. These agents are obligated to act upon the Chief’s orders.
Command: Can dismiss any CP0 agent.
Command: Can recruit any player as a CP0 agent. (That player must still meet the position requirements.)
Command: Can manipulate a single news article in the News Coo after every World Event.
Information Metagame: Can find out the entire Bio and RP History of a single entire crew after each Quest completed with a Quality Score of S. This can be done even against the player characters’ will.
Information Metagame: Can find out the entire Bio and RP History of one single player character and the history of all of the NPC crewmates’ affiliated with that particular character after each Quest completed with a Quality Score of A. This can be done even against the player character’s will.
Information Metagame: Can have a CP0 agent find out two details about every character’s past (whether it be from the Bio History or the RP History).
Requirements:


Character Level 100: Must be level 100.
Quality Score S: Must have completed at least 1 World Event with a quality score of S.
Boss Kill +4: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +4 difficulty.
Power Play: Must have defeated at least one criminal with a bounty of 300,000,000 or higher. (Knock out once)
Previous Service: Must have served as a Cipher Pol Agent previously in at least 3 World Events.


CP9 CHIEF (Max: 1)
Bonuses:


Lategame stats +100: You gain a +100 stat bonus. You will keep this bonus even if you lose or give up your position.
Income +25%: +25% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards and +15% for your second-in-command.
Command: Can command all CP9 agents. These agents are obligated to act upon the Chief’s orders.
Command: Can dismiss any CP9 agent.
Command: Can recruit any player as a CP9 agent. (That player must still meet the position requirements.)
Information Metagame: Can find out the entire Bio and RP History of one single player character and the history of all of the NPC crewmates’ affiliated with that particular character after each Arc completed with a Quality Score of A+. This can be done even against the player character’s will.
Information Metagame: Can have a CP9 agent find out one detail about every character’s past (whether it be from the Bio History or the RP History).
Requirements:


Character Level 80: Must be at least level 80. OR (see alternate requirement below.)
Boss Kill +4 (Optional): Must have defeated at least one boss with a +4 difficulty.
Quality Score A+: Must have completed at least 1 World Event with a quality score of A or higher.
Boss Kill +3: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +3 difficulty.
Power Play: Must have defeated at least one criminal with a bounty of 200,000,000 or higher. (Knock out once)
Previous Service: Must have served as a Cipher Pol Agent previously in at least 2 World Events.


CP1-8 CHIEFS (Max: 8 )
Bonuses:


Income +20%: +20% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards and +10% for your second-in-command.
Command: Can command all agents of the same division. These agents are obligated to act upon the Chief’s orders.
Command: Can dismiss any agent in the same division (must provide a legible RP reason).
Information Metagame: Can have an agent of the same division find out one detail about every character’s past (whether it be from the Bio History or the RP History).
Requirements:


Character Level 50: Must be at least level 50.
Quality Score A+: Must have completed at least 1 World Event with a quality score of A or higher.
Boss Kill +2: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +2 difficulty.
Power Play: Must have defeated at least one criminal with a bounty of 300,000,000 or higher. (Knock out once)
Previous Service: Must have served as a Cipher Pol Agent in at least 1 World Event.


CP0 AGENTS (Max: 20)
Bonuses:


Income +20%: +20% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Information Metagame: Can find out the entire Bio and RP History of one single player character and the history of all of the NPC crewmates’ affiliated with that particular character after each Saga completed with a Quality Score of A+. This can be done even against the player character’s will.
Information Metagame: Can find out one detail about every character’s past (whether it be from the Bio History or the RP History).
Requirements:


Character Level 60: Must be at least level 60.
Boss Kill +2: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +2 difficulty.
Quality Score B+: Must have completed at least 1 Saga or 2 Arcs with a quality score of B or higher.
Power Play: Must have defeated at least one criminal with a bounty of 100,000,000 or higher. (Knock out once)
Previous Service: Must have served as a Cipher Pol Agent in at least 1 World Event.


CP9 AGENTS (Max: 40)
Bonuses:


Income +10%: +10% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Information Metagame: Can find out one detail about every character’s past (whether it be from the Bio History or the RP History).
Requirements:


Character Level 40: Must be at least level 40. OR (see alternate requirement below.)

NAVY




FLEET ADMIRAL (Max: 1)
Bonuses:


Endgame stats +200: You gain a +200 stat bonus. You will keep this bonus even if you lose or give up your position.
Income +25%: +25% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards, and +15% multiplier for your second-in-command.
Command: Can command all marine characters. These marine characters are obligated to act upon the Fleet Admiral’s commands.
Command: Can dismiss any marine character of Vice Admiral rank or below from service. (Must provide legible RP reason.)
Command: Can promote any marine character RP-wise to an Admiral/Vice Admiral/Rear Admiral position. (The character must still meet that position’s requirements.)
Command: Can revoke the membership of a Shichibukai. (Must provide legible RP reason.)
Command: Buster Call - You may order a Buster Call once upon any island between each World Event. The Buster Call will not begin for another 7 rounds of posts.
NPC Level Upgrade: One of your level 50+ NPCs can be instantly leveled up to level 90.
Requirements:


Character Level 100: Must be level 100.
Quality Score A+: Must have completed at least 2 World Events with a quality score of A or higher.
Boss Kill +4: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +4 difficulty.
Power Play: Must have defeated at least one criminal with a bounty of 500,000,000 or higher. (Knock out once)
Previous Service: Must have served as an Admiral previously in at least 1 World Event and at least 1 Saga.


ADMIRALS (Max: 3)
Bonuses:


Lategame stats +100: You gain a +100 stat bonus. You will keep this bonus even if you lose or give up your position.
Income +20%: +20% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards and +10% multiplier for your second-in-command.
Command: Can command up to 10 Vice Admirals not already under the command of another Admiral. All of these Vice Admirals’ subordinates must also obey the Admiral’s command.
Command: Can dismiss any marine character below the rank of Vice Admiral from service.
Command: Can promote any marine character RP-wise to a Rear Admiral position. (The character must still meet that position’s requirements.)
Command: Buster Call - Can order a Buster Call once upon any island between each World Event. The Buster Call will not begin for another 7 rounds of posts.
NPC Level Upgrade: One of your level 40 NPCs can be instantly leveled up to level 70.
Requirements:


Character Level 80: Must be at least level 80.
Quality Score A+: Must have completed at least 1 World Event with a quality score of A or higher.
Boss Kill +3: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +3 difficulty.
Power Play: Must have defeated at least one criminal with a bounty of 300,000,000 or higher. (Knock out once)
Previous Service: Must have served as a Vice Admiral previously in at least 1 World Event.


VICE ADMIRALS (Max: 30)
Bonuses:


Income +15%: +15% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards, and +5% multiplier for your second-in-command.
Command: Can command up to 3 Rear Admirals not already under the command of another Vice Admiral. All of these Rear Admirals’ subordinates must also obey the Vice Admiral’s command.
Command: Can dismiss any marine character below the rank of Rear Admiral from service (must provide a legible RP reason).
Requirements:


Character Level 60: Must be at least level 60.
Quality Score B+: Must have completed at least 1 Saga or 2 Arcs with a quality score of B or higher.
Boss Kill +2: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +2 difficulty.
Previous Service: Must have served as a Rear Admiral previously in at least 1 Saga or 2 Arcs.


REAR ADMIRALS (Max: 90)
Bonuses:


Income +10%: +10% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Command: Can command up to 4 non-crewmate marine player characters not holding important positions. These marines are obligated to act upon the Rear Admiral’s commands.
Requirements:


Character Level 40: Must be at least level 40.
Boss Kill +1: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +1 difficulty.
Previous Service: Must have served as a Marine previously in at least 1 Arc.




BOUNTY HUNTERS




SIX-STAR (Max: 1)
Bonuses:


Endgame stats +200: You gain a +200 stat bonus. You will keep this bonus even if you lose or give up your position.
Income +30%: +30% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Shop Discount 30%: 30% discount on all equipment upgrades and purchases as long as you hold this position.
Freedom of Travel: You can have simultaneous active threads in any of the seas.
Command: You can demand any other bounty hunter to give up their pursuit of a bounty, and they must comply or risk losing their bounty hunter position. You must pursue this bounty in their stead, otherwise, they will be allowed to continue their pursuit.
NPC Level Upgrades: One of your level 50+ NPCs can be instantly leveled up to level 90.
Information Metagame: In each thread, you can find out the entire history of every character even if the player isn't willing.
Requirements:


BHA Rank 1: Must hold Rank 1 in the Bounty Hunters' Association.
Character Level 100: Must be level 100.


FIVE-STARS (Max: 9)
Bonuses:


Income +20%: +20% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Shop Discount 20%: 20% discount on all equipment upgrades and purchases as long as you hold this position.
Freedom of Travel: You can have up to three active threads outside of the sea you are currently in.
Command: You can demand any bounty hunters with less than five stars to give up their pursuit of a bounty, and they must comply or risk losing their bounty hunter position. You must pursue this bounty in their stead, otherwise, they will be allowed to continue their pursuit.
Information Metagame: In each thread, you can find out the entire history of a single character even if the player isn't willing. Additionally, you can find out one background detail about every character in your thread even if the player isn't willing.
Requirements:


BHA Rank 2-10: Must hold a rank between 2 and 10 in the Bounty Hunters' Association.
Character Level 80: Must be at least level 80.


FOUR-STARS (Max: 40)
Bonuses:


Income +10%: +10% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Shop Discount 10%: 10% discount on all equipment upgrades and purchases as long as you hold this position.
Freedom of Travel: You can have up to two active threads outside of the sea you are currently in.
Command: You can demand any bounty hunters with less than four stars to give up their pursuit of a bounty, and they must comply or risk losing their bounty hunter position. You must pursue this bounty in their stead, otherwise, they will be allowed to continue their pursuit.
Information Metagame: In each thread, you can find out the entire history of a single character even if the player isn't willing.
Requirements:


BHA Rank 11-50: Must hold a rank between 11 and 50 in the Bounty Hunters' Association.
Character Level 60: Must be at least level 60.


THREE-STARS (Max: ∞)
Bonuses:


Shop Discount 10%: 10% discount on all equipment upgrades and purchases as long as you hold this position.
Freedom of Travel: You can have one active thread outside of the sea you are currently in.
Information Metagame: In each thread, you can find out one background detail about a single character in your thread even if the player isn't willing.
Requirements:


Character Level 40: Must be level 40 or above.
Quality Score B+: Must have achieved a quality score of B or higher in at least 1 Arc or at least 3 episodes.
Boss Kill +1: Must have defeated at least one quest boss with a +1 difficulty or higher.




NEW REVOLUTIONARY ARMY




COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF (Max: 1)
Bonuses:


Endgame stats +200: You gain a +200 stat bonus. You will keep this bonus even if you lose or give up your position.
Income +25%: +25% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards. +10% multiplier to all of your direct crewmates. (Other NRA world positions are not considered your direct crewmates.)
Command: Can command all lower-ranking revolutionary characters. These revolutionaries are obligated to act upon the Commander-in-Chief's commands.
Command: Can dismiss any revolutionary from the NRA. (Must provide legible RP reason.)
Command: Can promote any character RP-wise to a Chief of Staff, General, or Commander position. (The character must still meet that position’s requirements.)
NPC Level Upgrades: One of your level 50+ NPCs can be instantly leveled up to level 90.
Turf Upgrades: You can choose any one of your turfs to become your “Base of Operations". Then you may choose up to two upgrades for that Turf that you will be granted for free.
Information Metagame: You can have any revolutionary soldier holding an important position find out at least one detail about every character’s history (whether that be their Bio History or RP History), even if the player isn’t willing.
Requirements:


Character Level 100: Must be level 100.
Player crew 4+: Must have at least 4 players in your crew, not including yourself.
Quality Score A+: Must have completed at least 2 World Events with a quality score of A or higher.
Boss Kill +4: Must have defeated at least one quest boss with a +4 difficulty.
Bounty 1.5bil: Must have a minimum bounty of 1,500,000,000 berries.
Turf 1+: Must be controlling at least one turf in the New World.
Previous Service: Must have served as a General or Chief of Staff in at least 2 World Events.


CHIEF OF STAFF (Max: 1)
Bonuses:


Income +25%: +25% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Command: Can command all lower-ranking revolutionary characters. These revolutionaries are obligated to act upon the Chief of Staff’s commands.
Command: Can dismiss any revolutionary except the Commander-in-Chief from the NRA. (Must provide legible RP reason.)
Command: Can promote any character RP-wise to a General or Commander position. (The character must still meet that position’s requirements.)
NPC Level Upgrades: One of your level 40 NPCs can be instantly leveled up to level 70.
Information Metagame: You can have any revolutionary soldier holding an important position find out at least one detail about every character’s history (whether that be their Bio History or RP History), even if the player isn’t willing.
Requirements:


Character Level 80: Must be at least level 80.
Quality Score A+: Must have completed at least 1 World Event with a quality score of A or higher.
Boss Kill +3: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +3 difficulty.
Power Play: Must have defeated at least one Vice Admiral or at least two Rear Admirals or at least one criminal with a bounty of 300,000,000+ in combat (knock out once)
Previous Service: Must have served as a General or Commander previously in at least 1 World Event.
Bounty 700mil: Must have a bounty of at least 700,000,000 berries.


GENERALS (Max: 25)
Bonuses:


Income +20%: +20% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Command: Can command up to 3 Revolutionary Commanders and all Revolutionary Characters not holding important positions. These revolutionaries are obligated to act upon the General’s commands.
Information Metagame: You can have yourself and/or your crewmates find out at least one detail about every character’s history (whether that be their Bio History or RP History), even if the player isn’t willing.
Requirements:


Character Level 60: Must be at least level 60.
Quality Score A+: Must have completed at least 1 Saga or 2 Arcs with a quality score of A or higher.
Boss Kill +2: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +2 difficulty.
Power Play: Must have defeated at least one Rear Admiral or at least one criminal with a bounty of 100,000,000+ in combat (knock out once)
Previous Service: Must have served as a Commander previously in at least 2 Arcs or 1 Saga.
Bounty 400mil: Must have a bounty of at least 400,000,000 berries.


COMMANDERS (Max: 50)
Bonuses:


Income +10%: +10% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Command: Can command up to 4 non-crewmate revolutionary player characters not holding important positions (must be of equal or lower level). These revolutionaries are obligated to act upon the Commander’s commands.
Requirements:


Character Level 40: Must be at least level 40.
Boss Kill +1: Must have defeated at least one boss with a +1 difficulty.
Previous Service: Must have served as a Revolutionary previously in at least 1 Arc or Saga.




PIRATES




YONKOU (Max: 4)
Bonuses:


Endgame stats +200: If your crew’s total player levels add up to the highest among all Yonkou, you will obtain a +200 endgame boss stat bonus. You will keep this bonus even if you lose your position. (This replaces the lategame stat bonus.)
Lategame stats +100: You gain a +100 stat bonus. You will keep this bonus even if you lose or give up your position.
Income +30%: +30% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards, +20% for your second-in-command, and +10% multiplier to all of your direct crewmates.
NPC level upgrades: One of your level 50+ NPCs can instantly be upgraded to level 90.
Turf Upgrades: You can choose any one of your turfs to become your “Base of Operations". Then you may choose a single upgrade for that Turf that you will be granted for free.
Information Metagame: Can find out the entire Bio and RP History of a single entire crew after each Quest completed with a Quality Score of S. This can be done even against the player characters’ will.

Defeat a Yonkou (Optional): Instead of the above requirement, you may instead defeat a current Yonkou (knock out once) to qualify.
Player crew 4+: Must have at least 4 players in your crew, not including yourself.
Quality Score A+: Must have achieved a quality score of A or higher in at least 1 World Event.
Boss Kill +3: Must have defeated at least one quest boss with a +3 difficulty or higher.
Power Play: Must have defeated at least one Admiral or at least one criminal with a bounty of 1,000,000,000 in combat (knock out once).
Bounty 2bil: Must have a minimum bounty of 2,000,000,000 berries.
Turf 2+: Must be controlling at least two turfs. One of these turfs must be in the New World. If your controlled turfs fall below 2, you will lose your Yonkou status.


SHICHIBUKAI (Max: 7)
Bonuses:


Endgame stats +200: If you have served as a Shichibukai the longest among all Shichibukai, you will gain a +200 stat bonus. You will keep this even if you lose your position.
Income +20%: +20% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Shop Discount 25%: 25% discount on all equipment upgrades as long as you hold this position. (Does not stack with Supernova/Super Veteran discount.)
Freedom of Travel: You may participate in Episode quests in different seas simultaneously.
Requirements:


Character Level 40: Must be at least level 40.
Quality Score B+: Must have achieved a quality score of B or higher in at least 1 World Event or at least 2 Arcs.
Boss Kill +2: Must have defeated at least one quest boss with a +2 difficulty or higher.
RP Law-abiding: While Shichibukai are given some degree of freedom towards criminality, if you are caught RP-wise doing something horribly law-breaking, your membership may be revoked by the Gorosei or the Fleet Admiral.


SUPER VETERANS (Max: ∞)
Bonuses:


Lategame stats +100: If you are the first-mate of a "Strolling Death" yonkou crew, you gain a +100 stat bonus. You will keep this bonus even if you lose or give up your position.
Income +10%: +10% multiplier to all base monetary quest rewards.
Shop Discount 20%: 20% discount on all future equipment upgrades and purchases.
Requirements:


Character Level 60+: Must be at least level 60.
Bounty 300mil: Must have a minimum bounty of 300,000,000 berries.
Previous Service: Must have participated in at least 1 saga or 2 arcs as a Supernova.


SUPERNOVAS (Max: ∞)
Bonuses:


Shop Discount 10%: 10% discount on all future equipment upgrades and purchases.
Requirements:


Bounty 100mil: Must have a minimum bounty of 100,000,000 berries.
