Seraphina Wolfe
Basic Character Information
Starting Bonus: Tough Guy | [Starting Bonus Roll]
First Name: Seraphina
Middle Name/Initial: Tempest
Last Name: Wolfe
Epithet: Demon Physician
Age: Twenty-Seven
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Faction: Pirate
Profession: Sniper/ Doctor
Physical Appearance
Height: 6'
Weight: 168 lbs.
Hair Style: Long and straight falling down her back stopping just past her butt with bits falling over her shoulders that stop just below her chest. Her bangs fall onto her face and are swept to one side covering her right eye and the rest seemingly tucked behind her ear.
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Red
Scars: Nothing too obvious if any at all any more.
Clothing and Accessories: Serafina is not too picky about whether her clothing is comfortable as she does about looking like she at least puts an effort into how she dresses and looks. She typically wears skinny type jeans in a variety of darker shades and they range from being in great shape to well worn and ripped. She generally pairs these with a graphic tee of some sort but she is no stranger to wearing more daring blouses. She will occasionally wear shorts of the same variety as her jeans or even skirts with dark leggings or tights underneath. She will almost always pair her outfits with either a blazer or a leather moto jacket and she is never seen without her statement heels whether they are a booty or strappy. There are also times in which, Sera will wear a suit or rather most of a suit. She doesn't always wear a button-up shirt under the blazer opting to leave it out. She simply buttons up her blazer and leaves it like that. She generally leans towards darker colored suits and she still wears a pair of heels with it. On winter weather islands, she will wear the nicer of her jeans and a dark-colored sweater with a long, black trench coat with a red scarf and matching hat. She has a holster on her back that easily fits both her rifle and her needle gun.
Description: Seraphina has a trim and curvy build or rather her body takes on an hourglass shape. It is very obvious to any leering eye that she was blessed in both the chest and hip department while also keeping a well-defined waist. She stands at a height of 6' and weighs about 168 pounds. Her body definitely gives off the impression of someone that keeps themselves in great shape and is in fact well-toned. Her weight is massively attributed to her muscle mass and her very prominent chest. Her skin is pale especially when compared to her hair, however, she can easily tan without burning if she goes out into the sun. Upon touching her skin, one might expect it to be rougher to the touch than it is as it is surprisingly soft considering the way that she carries herself. It appears as though she has little to no imperfections to her skin but this is due to a diligent beauty regime, which helps in both keeping it soft and smooth as well as in lighting any scars she may have had at one time.
Serafina's face has a diamond shape to it but it becomes heavily unnoticed thanks to other features of hers including her almond-shaped, bright red eyes. Her hair is similar in color if not a tad bit darker and a majority of it falls down her back stopping just past her butt. There are bits falling over her shoulders that stop just below her chest. Her bangs fall onto her face and are swept to one side covering her right eye and the rest seemingly tucked behind her ear. Her hair is almost always in a neat condition as she takes good care of it and tends to keep it brushed. In most cases, her hair is kept down despite its length but if she does feel the need to put it up then she'll tie it into a ponytail. She will pin the bangs that fall over her eye with a bobby pin to get them out of her face if she finds them being particularly annoying.
The Past
Main Traits: Confident, Loyal, Cruel, Opportunistic
Likes: Guns, Tea, Children, Experimenting
Dislikes: Too many questions, Anything being done in an untimely manner, Appearing disheveled, Failed experiments
Unique laugh: Shifufufu
Hometown: Ilusia, West Blue
Personality: Seraphina very obviously drips with confidence and this is always the first and easiest thing to notice about her. The way she walks and even the way she talks alludes to this very fact. She always seems to know just what to say in a situation to either get herself out of a tight spot or get what she wants. She can be quite the smooth talker and it is something that has proved very useful to her profession. Considering her epithet, she has to be good at talking as she has gained a reputation of a demon and as such most people are very much aware of what is hiding behind that lovely smile. Despite, what most people think about her, she isn't always crazy smiles and venomous words.
However, no matter how smooth she may seem or how much confidence she shows, she does have a softer nature to her. This often doesn't show unless she finds herself among children. She has a soft spot for children and hates to see them suffering. Her whole demeanor will soften around them and she'll appear as though a completely different person. A more nurturing side will make itself known, which may hint that at one time she might have been a normal human being and wasn't always the person she is currently. Of course, this nurturing side isn't always just reserved for children but can also be seen by those who have earned her loyalty. She can't just show her weak side to just anyone after all only those she can trust and children get to see it.
Although, if someone unworthy finds themselves trying to appeal to the softer side they will find themselves very mistaken. Instead, most adult patients find themselves, victims, to her crueler side and nature and especially those that try to take advantage of her. She often uses adult patients to test her lastest potion and antidote concoctions, which also means she tests her strains of viruses and ailments on them as well. Its the only way to be sure that they all work the way they are intended after all and she'll do this all with the same smile. The same can be said with the way that she fights adding in that she will play dirty if the opportunity sees fit. Everything is never complete without that crazy smile being firmly sat upon her face unless perhaps her nurturing side comes out to play or something warrants not having a wicked smile on her face.
- History:
Seraphina was born on the island of Ilusia in the West Blue and was raised by both of her parents. Her father and mother built a clinic over the years before she was born that they ran together to help those in need. They were both very skilled doctors but they never asked for much especially from the poorer patients that they received. However, from the clinic, they earned enough to keep their small family afloat and keep their young daughter comfortable. A majority of her early years in life were spent in the clinic with her parents as they had no one that they trusted to watch their daughter while they worked.
It was during her time spent in the clinic that sparked her interest in becoming a doctor but that wouldn't become more prevalent until later. Once she was old enough, she was allowed to run around with other kids her age and play. There were some darker sides to the clinic that her parents tried to shield her from such as the patients that they received from the dark dealings within their home island. The older that she got the harder it became to hide it from their daughter especially as her curiosity could often get the better of her. They wanted her to stay a kid for as long as she could and keep her innocence.
This didn't last nearly as long as they would have hoped for it as they were forced to pull her into the clinic as a nurse. Her education to become a doctor would begin a little sooner than expected but this didn't seem to displease her in the slightest. The more she assisted her parents around the clinic the more she became interested in taking up their profession and one day running the clinic in their stead. Her parents, however, failed to inform just why they needed her to start her education sooner. They thought it was best to keep her out of the loop for as long as they could.
The more she learned from her parents, the more things started to fall into place. She had never minded that her lessons to become a doctor in their footsteps had started earlier than intended. She had always watched her parents in awe but as she shadowed her mother the symptoms started to become more obvious. Her mother was gravely ill and as the weeks passed she was only obviously getting worse. She didn't know how to tell her parents that she knew about her mother being sick so she kept quiet about it.
Eventually, Seraphina couldn't keep her knowledge to herself anymore and she spoke up about her mother's illness. It was clear to her that they already knew about it as they went on to explain they had only kept it from her to keep her innocent. They also expressed that they thought she wouldn't be able to focus on her training if she knew about it. She felt hurt that they thought she was too delicate to handle knowing the truth about her mother's illness. As if she would simply crumble knowing that her mother was sick and needed her more than ever.
This fact only seemed to determine her more to become a brilliant doctor like her mother and father or maybe even better. It was clear they didn't know how to deal with her mother's illness if they hadn't cured her yet. She wanted nothing more than to save her mother and so she began to help her father as he experimented on finding a cure. However, it would seem that the sicker her mother got the more her father slipped into insanity. It became obvious that finding a cure for her mother's illness was consuming him both time and mind.
Seraphina tried her best to focus on her own training but after a few years, there wasn't much more she could learn from either her parents or the books that they had. She had been a quick learner and that was probably thanks to the fact that her mother was severely ill and as the years passed it became even more obvious. This was an illness that had yet been discovered and it was driving her father completely mad. It was through his madness, that she started truly taking care of the clinic and instead of losing one parent she ended up losing both of them. All his focus and care went into trying to invent a cure for her mother's illness. Thus, she discovered the darker side of their clinic far sooner than her parents might originally have wanted.
Eventually, the day came where they had to bury her mother and her father was beside himself with grief. He had tried so hard to invent a cure to save her and in the time that he had spent trying to do that he had missed spending time with his dying wife. This only seemed to make him spiral within his own madness and Sera proceeded to lose both her parents in one fell swoop. Although her father was still alive, he was living a life of madness and decided to dedicate his life to finding a cure to his dead wife's illness. This research consumed him and eventually, he fell to this all-consuming madness.
Seraphina did not stick around long enough to see her father kill himself with his own research and instead set out on her own adventures. This also involved discovering a cure to the illness that took her mother but instead of succumbing to madness she instead became cruel. Without proper guidance from her father, she became rather confident in the things she did, which isn't normally a bad thing. However, her personality hardened a bit before she left her home island of Illusia because of the darker dealings. She had to learn how to deal with criminals and people trying to scam her and as a result, she became good at not only reading people but also became a smooth talker.
With every island she went to, her reputation grew as a demon physician and so did her confidence in talking her way through anything. She was capable of healing people but it was her prices and her cruel smile that earned her that reputation. As her adventures continued, she developed her fighting style and started to experiment on people she dubbed worthy to see how her antidotes and virus strains worked. Sometimes this meant leaving bodies in her wake but it was all in the name of science!
Eventually, she was approached on an island she can't quite recall to join a pirate crew, which wasn't unusual for her. She was a doctor with chaotic alliances and she would make a great addition to any pirate crew. However, this crew was different as they seemed to be far more cohesive and capable. It intrigued her so she joined the Primetime Pirates on their journies. Although after some time, she parted her ways with her crew, if only for a small portion of time, to help the needs of an orphanage that had disease running rampant within it. She vowed that once she was done healing them that she would return to them back to the sea. Thus she was left with a transponder snail so she could call them back to the island to retrieve her.

Approved!
I'm a bit disappointed by the explanation of how she became a cruel doctor. It feels just a bit random. But, I did find it interesting how she'd joined the Primetime Pirates but went on hiatus for a while. I look forward to seeing how she returns.
