Description: Decently built with a well toned body, Vane has the physique of a natural athlete. Some might say he is slightly lean for his age but this is mostly due to his height that makes him look more lean than he really is. He is dark skinned with slightly sharp features, brown dread locks down to his neck, and amber eyes. 20 percent of his body is covered in scars but the one that stand out is the scar shaped like a dragon on his right cheek with it's mouth gapped open almost like it's trying to consume his eye.

Personality: Vane is a calm, collected and thoughtful person who rarely looses his temper and is almost always smiling. His desire to become a great pirate stems from his desire for fun and adventure rather than any lust for treasure. Like any other pirate, Vane wishes to find the One Piece to become Pirate King and help his family out of proverty. However, his ultimate goal is something else entirely; namely to develop his own legacy and become a legend through his own exploits. A smaller dream is to write the book that will go down in history. He is seen constantly writing about his battles and ignoring his surroundings. Though he is kind, he is blunt while speaking to people and will often speak out on other people's weaknesses and delusions irrespective of how much that might disturb or hurt them. Vane is always actively searching for strong opponents to fight and takes great pleasure in fighting. When in battle Vane doesn't particularly make plans opting to fight with instincts instead.

Fien X. Vane originated Foosha Village in the East Blue, where he spent the majority of his early life living in poverty. He is of humble roots, his tiny family comprised of only himself, his mother, father, and younger brother. Vane's parents had common careers, farming being the family business. Being born to low class parents made him an outcast, not something he complained about because the fights would get into would break his bordom. He worked and played alone, often finding ways to sharpen his fighting prowess.
Vane's ambition to become a pirate spawned from his unappealing ordinary life. Tired of being poor and without opportunity, Vane decided to sail the seas in search of wonder and excitement. During his early teen years this facination led him to become a Pirate Apprentice for a group of pirates who visisted the island. He had decided to go with them realizing that they were in fact, some of the nicest pirates ever to set foot on the island. And indeed they were. In a few years time however the group was split up in a raid by a Navy ship. The captain was taken prisoner and so were many of the prominent fighters. The few that were left disbanded, Vane escaping to Centaurea.
