Clothing and Accessories: Skarleth is a person who appreciates herself and feels comfortable with her own body shape. Therefore, as something she is proud of, she is not afraid to show a bit of skin and/or don a more sensual type of attire. Primarily wearing more suited up clothing for missions out, she prefers the freedom as well as the protection of pants and looser clothing. During practice, she wears a more robe-like attire to move around more freely. As per heading out, she will wear whatever she feels like for the day. Still, there is one thing that never changes and those are the colors she prefers to wear -white, icy blue, and black. If anything, she never will be one to take off her mask and will protect it at all costs.
Description: If there is anything that stands out, it is that her eyes are an unusual hypnotic merge of vibrant gold and fiery orange. This is further highlighted by her primarily white, platinum hair and icy blue streaks. As to why this is, no one really knows. It curves in a u-shape starting from her chest and down past her waist. Her style of hair varies from time to time but she prefers having it long and loose in a casual setting and in a ponytail during a mission. Her skin is of a beautiful cream color which contrasts beautifully with her bright orangey-yellow eyes and platinum blue hair. It is pale in comparison to most and oftentimes without blemish due to her extremely girly spa days.

Personality: Perhaps stemming from her life as a wealthy socialite, Ebony is a woman who enjoys the finer things in life. She believes that pleasure is an important factor in living the high life and, as such, she opts to spend her days making sure that enjoyment is included in her end result. Thus, her free time is mostly filled with trips to the mall, relaxing at the beach, or finding ways to keep herself entertained. Her greatest joy, however, is writing. Under the pseudonym of “Skarleth,” Ebony pursues a career as a small time murder mystery novelist. Although she treats it more as a hobby, this has allowed her to become somewhat independent from her family.
Overall, Skarleth believes that the world is perfectly imperfect. In other words, she views the world as something that holds a necessary balance between the good and the bad. Her chosen role, of course, would be to balance out the good. This role is further emphasized in her responsibilities as the family heiress. Aside from her family’s customs, she finds it necessary to directly involve herself in the inner workings of the clan. Although she may not be directly placed under the spotlight, she much prefers to be working behind-the-scenes. From data collecting to weeding out the competition, Skarleth takes great pride in her work.

- History:
Ebony Mirrikh d’Etth was born to Trinity and Hubert von d’Etth on the night of January 6. Her birth had long been an awaited one yet, unfortunately, her gender was not. At the sight of her, Ebony’s father stormed out of the room and did not return to his wife’s side. For, in his mind, his wife had been the one who failed in providing him with a son. However, despite the heartbreak and humiliation, the girl’s mother swore to provide the babe with the best life she could. As the years went by, her mother did what she could to honor the promise in making sure Ebony would want for nothing.
At the start of her life, Ebony lived a fairly normal life with everything she could have asked for. She took lessons with her private tutors in the morning and learned etiquette in the afternoons. She was oblivious, however, to her father’s plot of marrying her off in order to expand his territory. As to his need for an heir, he simply turned to his secret lover and officially took her as his second wife. Her son, in turn, would be seen as the young Master of the house and next heir to the family. Unfortunately for Ebony, she was unaware of what was going on and readily accepted the new family as her own.
It wasn’t until Ebony showed promise and rapid growth that her father began to take her seriously. Moreso as his adopted son did not meet the standards he had placed for his children. Hubert, in turn, turned his investment to Ebony and simply justified it as his adoptive son lacking the necessary genes (his genes) to carry on the family name. This, in turn, caused a huge rift between the two siblings. Hatred began to cloud her brother’s judgement and resentment filled the d’Etth household. It would translate to an all out war for survival as the two worked hard to rise to the top.
A few years would go by and yet the family dynamic did not change. Feelings of hatred still lingered within the family and obsession had taken root deep within her brother’s mind. He was now labeled a failure as, regardless of how hard he tried, he forever remained only second best to his sister. Still, his obsession only fueled his need to rise to the top regardless of the means he used to do so. On the other hand, Ebony now had her father’s approval. She worked side by side with him and did her absolute best to learn the trade. After all, it was the only way she could survive.
On Ebony’s twelfth birthday, the battle for leadership was declared to officially proclaim the next family heir. Both siblings would partake and the victor would be declared alpha. On the day of the competition, however, both children were drugged and locked inside an enclosed room with no way out. No windows or doors could be seen but a loud sound of a knock could be heard throughout the room. Ebony’s heart would pound, deafening her, as her head swiftly turned towards the sound. Her brother stirred, shaking himself awake, as he woke from the forced slumber.
Her father’s voice would soon come after. He spoke slowly yet firmly, reminding them of the rules and what was at stake. She, however, could not hear him. Her mind had already begun to spin and realization would hit her like a ton of bricks. She had grown up seeing how it all worked and, yet, she had never had to partake in it. How naive she had been. Her eyes would then meet her brother’s. In her heart, she knew more than anyone that her brother would not take pity on her nor would he feel remorse. He hated her and she knew it. She made her decision. She wanted to live. Even if it cost her his life.
It would feel like eons had gone by when Ebony knocked the wall in which her father’s voice had previously sounded from. Her blood stained hands leaving dried imprints upon the areas she had touched. Footsteps could soon be heard and, as the door swung open, her father’s glowing face graced her. He was proud of her and, yet, she felt nothing. Her father would peer over her, inspecting the room, before nodding and giving orders to one of his subordinates. He would then guide her to her room so that she could rest peacefully. She had survived.
Years would go by and Ebony grew up quickly. She worked hard for the family while also partaking in some of the jobs herself. She had grown to accept her role in life and, in the end, it offered her another outlook on life. Her past experiences had shaped her tremendously and, upon receiving the title of alpha, many things had changed. Some, even for the better. All that was left was for her was to live life to its fullest. She had even taken to writing to let her mind wander from the daily tasks she did. However, it made her wonder what life would be like outside of the family. Regardless, if an opportunity ever presented itself, she might even take to venturing in the deep blue.
