Personality: On a day to day basis, Zero is a very sharp and calculated individual. The type to read you with his eyes before opening his mouth. Despite his uptight and strict mentality, his physical appearance was usually poised in a laid back nature. Zero is a big picture guy, not caring much about the thoughts of others. In combat however... his mentality shifts poles. Ever since he was a kid, he was scared of Jesters, but as he grew older he realizes the symbolism behind the fear. The jester's job was to entertain, to put on a show and to take breaths away. Zero truly began to embody this symbolism and realized that it was his duty to entertain the world. He was going to turn the world upside down. Chaos, war... whatever the others called it, Zero only knew it as a form of entertainment.

Zero was not always named Zero… he was what one would call an orphan. The young boy ended up on a stash of whiskey that was being smuggled into the blues to avoid taxation. He was discovered by the crew that had docked up on warship island, a typical spot for smugglers big and small. The crew had no idea what to do with the young boy and the smugglers instinct kicked in. They tried to sell the child but their response to its worth was a resounding ZERO. Thus came the name for the young to be smuggler.
Over the years, the crew raised the young Zero and used his small and innocent look to their advantage. It did not phase them to use the young boy in countless scams and smuggling operations around the world. The young Zero never had a fair look at right or wrong. From what he had seen, the world was up for grabs and it was all about who has the most leverage.
At the age of 18, Zero was running smuggling operations around Warship Island. His eyes had seen many things in such a short time, he had grown up quickly and roughly. His lust to bring freedom to the market, smuggling in things the government deemed dangerous and illegal in their eyes. He had risen the ranks quickly and had begun running local weapon and drug routes. The big fish in the underworld ran a strict respect rule... territories needed to be minded and commodities needed to be shared amongst smugglers. All this was part of the game of chess that Zero truly loved.
It was on a weapons run out of his hometown of warship that he found a strange fruit amongst the weapons. It was not like Zero to indulge in his product but his curiosity got the best of him. He had only seen a hand full of people that had consumed devil fruits in his time. They were so legendary and rare... the young smuggler could not turn his eyes. He acquired the Mira Mira no mi that day. It would only further his career in the underworld.... his homeworld.
As the years went by, Zero had started a business of his own. He had built up an impressive network of connections across his hometown and his ability to move valuable and desired objects across the small archipelago was becoming a breeze for the young smuggler. It was time to shake things up however….as the world government continually squeezed his business his hate and spite for them only grew and grew. It was time for someone to step up and create some chaos. Someone had to stand up to the World Government beside damn pirates. This is where Zero’s adventure begins… a young smuggler ready to turn the world upside down.
