Personality: Kai, for the most part, is a happy and calm individual. Certain situations tend to enrage him, unleashing his murderous nature, but that's a rare occurrence since there are not many brave souls who will encourage his wrath. Kai is a good person at heart and views the world from a positive perspective. Even when he's in difficult situations, Kai cherishes his life and personal issues. The world is simply a playground, awaiting his adventure. Additionally, when it comes to combat sense, Kai has high respect for his enemies. This causes him to fight with maximum effort and a lack of sympathy. Due to his somewhat high intelligence, he fights with a sense of pride during combat.
- History:
- Born on the legendary sky island, Skypiea, Kai was loved unconditionally by his father and mother. Naturally, being born into a bloodline of doctors, Kai took the medical route at a young age. By the age of 10, he desperately resisted his fears of becoming a liability to his Skypiean community. For this reason, Kai learned health science from his father, who was an elite doctor in the trade, and a variety of other normal activities like Checkers and Chess. By the time he was in his mid-teens, he was in the top 5% of his graduating class, earning him the ability to graduate early, which he accepted.
However, once he graduated, his life seemed to lack true purpose. With enough doctors in Skypiea for everyone, Kai enrolled in foreign travel to continue his studies on the surface world with Skypieans of various professions. As he hugged his worried parents once more, Kai departed from his floating home, realizing his journey would soon begin.
During his travels on the surface world, Kai would meet his mentor, Professor Elgin. Elgin, who's Skypiean himself, was a legendary doctor. He insisted Kai dug deeper into his health studies and utilize common health practices. Elgin taught his mentee his ideology and stressed the importance of every patient, no matter the case. During his time with Elgin, Kai's ideology became on par with mid-intermediate doctors.
As the expedition came to an end, Kai decided to remain on the surface world and continue his studies. Now alone, Kai was ready to explore the world. Luckily for him, a Marine vessel allowed him onto their ship to aid their doctors until they traversed back into the Blues. Once they reached the first island, Kai was dropped off and he blindly continued his adventure.
