His torso and arms are usualy coverd with white bandages hiding the many scars he has earned during his time fighting and testing his martial arts against the animals of Mt Corvo. he sports a open black haori,trim lined in crimson, with the word Powerful (パワフル) etched on the back. Non-combat: when not sleeping, Rion is usual looking for something fun to do, or falling back into old habits from his home island. training himself( but failing some aspects) like his sensei taught him. "train hard,work hard,study well, eat, and sleep plenty" are the words he follows.
In combat: Rion is violent and brash, and can be often found usually at the vangaurd of battle. against weaker oppnents he is usually bored, finding himself searching for some one that he can cut loose with. though normaly good and calm nature should he be set into a rage,( which doesnt happen often) he will go out of his way to make sure the cause is put to end, no matter the risk to himself or others that get in his way. if a strong or worth opponent is found however Rion tends to find himself laughing and smiling trying to test his and his oppnents limits.

Rion was born to a single mother, during one of the goa kingdoms most violent storms. his mother, a woman of strong will, had been in labor with him for hours as the storm raged outside the makeshift house her husband had built, long before he set out to sea to find his wealth.during his youth Rion would often play and hunt for animals in the forests surronding Mt Corvo. Wanting one day to hopefuly join his father out at sea, after hearing the stories and many tales about him from his mother.
Age 11: Rion had found himself joining a bad crowd, after his mother's death a year ago, he would have done anything to keep himself feed, and wanted nothing more than to leave the island, and hopefully one day find his father, here is when he would meet Nene, a half cat mink. that because of her weak and clumsy nature made him obligated to protect her. this would lead to a life long freindship were Rion would protect nene, and she'd teach him what she learned in school( and half succeeded). they promised eachother, once they were old enough and strong enough to leave the island they would do it together. during the next few years there bond would grow closer as they( attempted) to build their own ship.
Age 15: Rion after months of training and living in his makeshift home. would finally leave. he would next take up the Black hat his mother left him from his father as a keepsake and leave with everything he owned. he needed to get stronger and the animal the local hunters in the taverns of foosha village called, " the mountain lord" would be a worthy partner. he would one day find himself high in the mountains of mt corvo searching for the beast, where he would meet his sensei a old hermit. who, after beating him into the dirt, and Rion begging the old hermit to teach him.would train him in the martial style, The Way of The Mountain Lord(Yamanokami no michi) for the next 3 years of his life.
Current year age 18: Rion finds himself coverd in cuts,scraps and bruises, pressed firmly against a thick tree deep in the forests surrounding Mt.corvo. he gazes up through his now unkempt raven locs to the foggy gray sky,now tainted with ash and thick clouds. "Roar" the sudden sound snapped him back to his senses. ' unfocused' he says to himself shifting his eyes forward.
Rion had been on the run and in hiding for a few days now, for the last 3 days he had to first, watch his sensei die, defending him and Nene from the world nobles after she was arrested for( as far as he knew) simply being a mink.
second, got chased out of the city, after a failed rescue attempt, but success theft of a small box, and now
third. The beast he had been searching for all those years ago, "the mountain lord" was a very large, pissed off, and wragged old grizzly bear and it now stared Rion in his storm grey eyes.
another "roar" erupted from the bears lips as it stood up, pacing back and forth in front of him.
'well,' he thought " lets see what ill die over" his fingers limply open the small wooden box resting on his lap and once open, a dark brown cantalope shaped fruit, with patterns of interlaced flexed muscle covering it would great him." Chi he would take the cantalope sized fruit in his right hand. gaze up at the mountain lord. and take a bite.
1 hr later Rion would snap to conciousness. eyes flaring around wildly until they find themselves now, gazing at the now ripped in half corpse of the "mountain lord". he'd blacked out after using the last of his strength to eat that fruit, he remebered it tasted like how the grey terminal smelled. like sulfer and ash. only now. his muscles and body no longer ached, he felt strength again in his fingers, far more than he had before. he was in pain, but it no longer bother him to move. his thoughts shifted from the fruit and then nene as he walked towards his black hat, pulling it onto his head. " whatever, nows not the time to be worried about it" he says, gaze shiftng from the ground, to the corpse, then to the royal palace. " ive, got work to do" then RIon, slowly begins to take a walk towards town.
