Gear: Conrad Segal's gear was chosen to be tough and cool, like his vision of himself, and to scream "PIRATE!" To this effect, he wears a headband, large earrings, a bone-pattern black leather jacket, brown leather shoes, and black denim pants with a brown leather belt. On his belt is a simple but large leather coin pouch. Under his leather jacket, he usually wears simple, one-color shirts, often with stains or tears.

When in his hybrid state, Conrad loses his earrings, headband, and shoes, but keeps his clothing, though the sleeves on the jacket and pants seem to be shorter.  
Description: Conrad Sagal stands at only 4'11" but contains enough fight for someone twice his size. This is apparent from the numerous scars all over his body and forehead, though these are usually covered up. His black hair is as wild and untamed as he is. He has abstract tattoos covering the entirety of his arms and part of the back of his hands. Despite all this, he has relatively soft facial features. His grey eyes have strong, sharp eyebrows slanted upon them, but also somewhat thick lashes. His nose is small and unobtrusive.

In his hybrid state, Conrad gains only about an inch of height, but also gains a lot of muscle. His skin also thickens and is covered in coarse yet thin fur. The majority of the fur is black, but the top of his head and down his entire back is a large stripe of white fur. His head flattens, his ears become small ridges protected by skin and fur, and his face becomes a short muzzle with a strong jaw yet irregular teeth. His hands and feet gain large, powerful claws. Due to the loss of his headband, the scar on his forehead is visible. He also has a tiny tail, but this is usually hidden.

Personality: For someone of his small stature, Conrad Sagal can make a big impression. He can be loud, rowdy, boisterous, and a troublemaker. He can be your best friend one moment and be trying to fight you the next - though the two aren't mutually exclusive. After all, he loves to fight almost as much as he loves sweets and partying. He is both impulsive and stubborn, which means once he gets an idea in his head - one that can seem to come out of nowhere - he will stop at almost nothing to make it happen. Combined with his temper and love of fighting, and it is clear how he can get himself into some serious messes.

He also tries to be cool and confident, but can easily be angered by looking down on him. Literally, in fact, as he hates being reminded that he's... not the tallest guy. His love of sweets can also clash with his "tough-guy" image, as he is easily distracted and disarmed by them, only to pout about said distraction and disarmament.

Despite all this, however, he is not an idiot or naïve. He can be crafty at times, and is not as easily tricked or outsmarted as he seems he would be. He can be friends with people seemingly at a drop of a hat, but that does not mean he actually trusts them right away.

His guiding principle is the freedom to choose who you are. He does not believe that one's bloodline or birthplace determines one's destiny nor one's choices in life. Despite being a pirate, there are Marines he respects and pirates he despises - and vice versa. He believes a man's heart determines whether he is good or bad, not what the government considers justice or injustice. Marines and pirates are not good and evil, in either direction. Each individual is, in fact, an individual. What he thinks makes pirates better than Marines is the ability to choose their paths, while Marines have to follow the World Government. It is that freedom that drives him to be a pirate.
