Her exposed mid-riff leads down to a green sash loosely tied around a pair of jean shorts that stop just a few inches from the knee. Flats or a good pair of wicker sandals finishes off the outfit. Accesories vary but she commonly wears a purple bracelet, a chunky almost medallion like necklace and hoop earrings.
Description: Wysteria is tall and slender and according to her mother, has a similar build to other kuja. Though from her personal experience that isn't saying alot since the only other one she has seen is her mother. Despite growing up at sea and living on an island, Wysteria is about as pale as they come with dull blue eyes and an easy smile. Her hair is a perfect combination of her parents, the darker almost black from her mother and the teals and yellows from her father.

She has a tendency to cut loose a bit too easily when in the company of others she trusts, which can lead to situations varying from fun to frustrating, depending on how much alcohol is involved.
In a fight, she likes to try to keep calm under pressure because anything can go wrong at a moment's notice, especially when dealing with revolutionaries and pirates. She is not above playing dirty but would prefer to keep things as straightforward as need be. Bag them, tag them, get paid, next job. Often, she remembered arguments between her parents and their many unfortunate "run-ins" with the marines and disgruntled sailors who had their goods "misplaced" or straight up purloined by her mother. Old habits seemed to die hard, especially when it came to someone who had once been a Kuja raider with the mentality that "what's mine is mine, and what's yours is also mine." Unfortunately, her father didn't agree with that sentiment and had to mend a few sore attitudes and owed more than his fair share of favors to get the marines off their backs and into their pockets where they belonged.
The loneliness of her childhood didn't last forever. One year, her mother's snake had conveniently "gone missing" for a few weeks after landing on a particularly swampy island. They had all but raised the island from its roots when she came slithering back, looking sated and just a tad bit fatter. Not long after, a small clutch was laid, and from it, Weed was born. The other hatchlings went one way or another, but Weed remained and took a particular liking to Wysteria. "It's in the blood," her mother would say. Her father wasn't very pleased to have another nearly human-sized snake living on his ship.
Almost at once, everything changed for her when she mistakenly ate a devil fruit. Wysteria was roughly thirteen years old and had been picking fruit at an orchard, assuming they would go well with the various fruit pies her mother adored baking. Among all the fruit in her bunch, there was one she picked but didn't recognize. Assuming she had discovered some new amazing fruit, she wanted to be the first to try it. The first bite was rancid—the absolute worst taste she could imagine, multiplied by infinity. This was followed by what can only be described as slow-motion vomiting, then screaming, panic, drowning, and finally resuscitation by a snake.
The events that followed changed their family's lifestyle drastically. Wysteria could not swim and sank like a rock. She refused to fish, refused to get on the family boat, and was only convinced to step foot back on deck after much reinforcement to the hull and a cheap pair of precautionary water wings for the confidence boost. Her parents decided that it might be time to truly settle somewhere once and for all. They looked from island to island but found themselves on a ticking time bomb as their daughter's paranoia grew and their run-ins with roving pirates increased. Figuring the safest bet was Shells Town, they reconfigured their ship into a land-friendly restaurant, turning it upside down, crossing out the old name of "Grand Line Galley," and painting over it "East Blue Galley."
The grand reopening was short of the grand part and nearly drove them into debt. But after a time, they found their place among all the competition and found a healthy balance of new and old faces, mostly compromised of marines they'd had "disagreements" with in the past. Nothing a good bowl of soup or a pastry couldn't tide over.
Wysteria's powers grew to become both a personal and public nuisance. Just when the entirety of the town was about to hypothetically line up at their door with guns and torches, an old "marine turned acquaintance because the food was good turned family friend" showed up just in time to spearhead her into a mandatory character arc. In the next few years within the unofficial ranks of the marines, she learned to shoot, honed her devil fruit powers, and even considered joining before politely declining because, despite being insanely helpful, she didn't want to tie herself down with yellow tape and rank.
As she entered into adulthood, she didn't care to stray too far. Wysteria had grown used to the creature comforts of land and had a good enough life living with her parents and working full time as a cook, spending the better half of her days gardening, wandering the beach, and drawing. It wasn't until a raid upon their home took place, and her mentor figure was tragically killed off, that spurred her to action. She decided from then on she wanted to become a bounty hunter, to find the men responsible for killing him and bring them to justice.

It's hard to say whether some of the Kuja characteristics (e.g. affinity for haki and primarily birthing females) are genetic or a product of growing up on Amazon Lily (maybe it's just something in the water).
But, since Wysteria's mom is a former Kuja pirate and Wysteria herself is adopting at least a few of the Kuja customs (Weed is adorable), I'm fine with her tribe being designated as Kuja.[/approve]
