Description: Black Drum Island is ruled by the Black Drum Alliance, an alliance of city councils that watch over the island’s operations. It has many cities and port towns that help make it a solid asset for the World Government.

History: Three hundred years ago, a king from the Grand Line took over this island, dubbing it the Black Drum Kingdom. His family ruled the island with tyrannical means, abusing their power and suppressing the freedom of the populace. There were a few generations who attempted reforms, but their black name had tainted their well-meaning intentions. Nearly a century ago, a great coup led to the slaughter of the majority of the royal family. Distant relatives of the king managed to escape, some diving into slums around the island and some to foreign lands. This was the birth of the Black Drum Alliance.
