Caesar's attire is eccentric to say the least. First, at plain minimal, Caesar wears a grey armhole shirt with the face of a joker, fashioned as the graphic one would see appear on a playing card. Above this shirt, he wears grey dress shirt, with golden straps which bind the shirt, as button would. The straps are golden in tint, made from cotton with big buttons containing fake ruby's to decorated the button's core. He wears a black jacket to cover this, which carries the Ilusia's Kingdom's stamp on it. His lower body is often fashioned in a black and red checkered pattern pants, which is liken to that of a clown's pants, but slightly less baggy. On his waist, he wears a bright white and golden belt, fashion in a victorian era like theme. The sigil of a clown rests on the belt, which lies in the bud of a rose, it was his mother's first birthday gift to Caesar. Over his right eye, he wears a black eye back with the design of an Egyptian styled eye with a red iris. He wears silver earrings fashioned in the style of a crucifix with circular flower pattern encasing the crucifix.
Detailed Description:
Caesar's always seen wearing a black and gold jester's hat often during his general outings. Accompanied with his eye patch, his eccentric look makes him very amusing to the kids within Ilusia. Though Caesar's height can also be another intimidating factor about himself, he's the shortest of three brothers, standing in at six foot' one. His flashy attire, combined with blood red eyes and hair, it makes Caesar an interest to all of the noble ladies within the Kingdom of Ilusia, as his attractiveness is almost adorned to demigod's of past lore. He often carries a white mask, in which he uses to fully embrace the subtle clown like theme he portrays, to conceal his face in the present of enemies or in combat.

Personality:
Caesar's a very festive person, this is mostly due to his service in the Ilusia Kingdom as a jester, he's often grown accustomed to keeping those around him entertained either with a sleight of hand, he's prime to show off with a deck of cards never too far away. However, he's very cynical and narcissistic with his jokes, as a way to cover his own underlying insecurities. Often appearing overconfident, which most of the time is a cover up to block out the harsh realities of the worthlessness he hopes to one day overcome. Often seeking affirmation in those around him, Caesar's his encounter's to entertain his own personal amusement. He tends too mouth off a alot about the errors in the World Governments System and within his own Kingdom of Ilusia, showing his distain for the ideal of 'nobility'.
Three of Caesar's most interesting traits lie in his manner of speech, his laugh and his mannerisms. Caesar uses what he refers to as 'proper' speech among the court and the nobles as a way of patronizing the way they speak. Though, when among the fellow members of the circus and his master, he's seen expressing himself in slightly less grammatically correct sentences. His laugh patterns that of a 'Nishi-Nishi' flow, almost sounding as if he's sneezing as he laughs or exclaims in merriment. Finally, his mannerisms are very erratic and comical, never staying one position for too long and heavy on the use of body language to convey his feelings and message.
The one thing Caesar hopes to gain in his journey across the seas are nakama that he can be genuine with and gaining the ability of stripping away his heart from the bleak pessimistic ways of his past.
- History:
- ACT I
Caesar's story begins with the story of his father, Robert. Robert Cofresi served as a knight in the Ilusia Kingdom for many years. His father was a fierce swordsman, whose skill with a rifle and blade was unparalleled. However, Robert and the King of Ilusia often butted heads on the treatment of the people. His belief was that the King was extorting his subjects to live an extravagant lifestyle, one which their taxes and the Royal Fund couldn't support. The King of Ilusia labelled Robert a traitor, banishing him from Ilusia for life. Robert and the Princess of Ilusia, Lita Loveless were in a passionate love affair, however Lita was promised to the neighbouring Kingdom, in attempts for the King of Ilusia to merge the two realms. After Robert's banishment, the Princess locked herself in a tower, isolating herself from the affairs of the Kingdom, abandoning not only the Ilusia's family name but legally taking Robert's last name of Cofresi. Robert began to ravish the seas, with his vicious and ill-mannered combat style, managing to spread his name far and wide across the Grandline. Returning to Ilusia to claim the Kingdom as his turf under the freedom that piracy entails. Through negotiations with the World Government however Robert's rebel like actions were quelled, however, Robert had captured many towers and cities in Ilusia, leaving his influence and his bloodline across the Kingdom, fathering several children. Robert was imprisoned and all of his children were furiously sought out by the King. Once found, each of their legal names, suffered an addition of a 'J' for Joker. Cursing all of Robert's family to serve the Ilusia Kingdom indefinitely to repay Ilusia for the debt and damages the Kingdom subdued. However, the King of Ilusia used Robert's unrest to cover up his eccentric spending, claiming that it was Robert who stole funds from the Kingdom, during his servitude to the court. Most of the children with the initial J within the Kingdom seldom made it pass five years of age, unable to receive food or education, becoming outcasts to the Kingdom. All except three boys, one of whom, due to having the blood of the Ilusia monarchy would eventually be excused from this prejudice, under the stipulation that the child become a jester of the court. The other two brothers disappeared from the Kingdom during a series of civil unrests.ACT II
The King of Ilusia had a bad habit of using his power to inflict cruel and unnecessary punishments to slaves and prisoners. Hand to the King, Leonardo suggested that he find other means of amusing himself as it was setting a bad name for the nobles involved. Through this suggestion, he contracted a circus that travelled across the West Blue, famous for their high flying acrobatics to serve in the court as the King's subjects. However, the circus acceptance of this stipulation was pretty much signing away their freedom to serve the King's boredom. The King forbid the circus members from leaving, claiming that each of them were enemies to the state for trying to steal large volumes of beli from Ilusia. When the circus cargo was inspected on the day they were suppose to leave, countless treasure was found, planted by the King himself. The Lalooza Circus was bounded to the Kingdom of Ilusia and served in the Royal Palace to entertain the King. While the King's behaviors became increasingly worse, another scandal was revealed in Ilusia, the Princess had given birth to a child from Robert and his name was Caesar. She'd been concealing his existence in the tower with the aid of her chamber maidens. Caesar, now three, accidentally snuck out of the tower one day and travelled into the main castle walls. It was there that Caesar befriended the Circus leader, Francisco, who escorted the young child back to her mother's care. As the years trickled onward, though Francisco missed the air of the open seas, his people flourished greatly. The other circus performers grew weary of the seas and wanted to make a home in Ilusia, forgetting of the King's in fraction as the days went by. Francisco was still very suspicious of the King and often, would spend his days teaching Caesar pallor tricks in his free time. The King had yet to find out about Caesar's existence and this all changed that night of the octennial Ilusia festival.ACT III
Eight years passed, Caesar was now eleven years of age and an active member in the Lalooza Circus. Caesar was told to be a child of great promise from the slums of Ilusia, at least that was the story he put forth to the King. Leonardo, was suspicious of this story however and kept close watch on little Caesar, due his appearance being uncanny to Robert Cofresi. The Octennial Ilsuia festival was in great swing and this was Caesar's first performance with the Lalooza circus, from each member of the circus he had picked up various tricks, mistakenly eating a rare Devil Fruit among the cargo of the circus's past travels. Using his weird palms that seemed to repel everything they touch, Caesar incorporated the Fruit's ability into his flying acrobatic routine. However it was on this day that Leonardo's investigation into Caesar's origins had born fruit, during the Festival's Grand Presentation, Caesar's mother was assassinated, hunting for the child's life next. Francisco tried to help Caesar escape but it was too late, he was brought before the King for treason as a son of the man who possessed J. in his name. Caesar was officially branded with the name of Joker and instead of his murder, the King offered, no inferred that the boy would serve the rest of his days as a Jester, entertaining the Nobles of Ilusia. At this point, Caesar was spat on, physically abused, laughed at and degraded. Francisco often tried to comfort Caesar as he did in the past but the swift change of events broke him mentally. He was forced to quit the circus, force to practice in privacy but soon quit after the King started denying food and rights to those who interacted with Caesar. As such, the child cut all ties with the circus, even denying private lessons with Francisco, in fear that he too would be prejudiced against. For the next five years, Caesar had no friends, lived in isolation, often shining his broken smile to those who'd approach him about his mental status. Francisco couldn't take it any longer, he'd been working as an informant to the World Government over the next few years to expose the evils in Ilusia, and with the treatment of Caesar, all of those involving Robert revealed, they soon had no choice but too invade due to political reasons. However, Leonardo again caught wind of the man's plots, and ordered for Caesar to be murdered in his sleep. Fighting off his attackers, Caesar woke up in the dead of the night. Running to Francisco for refuge, with no else to turn to, Caesar embraced Francisco, breaking down in tears. Years of pent up emotion flew freely that night and Francisco, along with the Lalooza circus helped Caesar escape and hid his whereabouts.ACT IV - Finale for New Beginnings
Francisco and all the members of the Lalooza Circus where sentenced to the guillotine, as the King's way of making a statement to all of the Joker supporters. Caesar, on the other hand was living in refuge, training with an old friend of Francisco, a man by the name of Colt. Colt taught Caesar martial arts, teaching him various stances, throws and kicks to compliment his Paw Paw Fruit. Broadcast throughout the Kingdom, Francisco execution was shown to all of Ilusia, Caesar watched in restraint as Francisco an the members of the Lalooza Circus were beheaded. It was on this day that Caesar swore to avenge their deaths, Francisco and the members of the Circus all died with smiles on their faces, in tears wishing Caesar to be happy. It was a guilt they had all live with for years that in the end made them send him off with a smile, a guilt for watching him get abused and doing nothing. Two years later, Caesar returned to the main Capital of Ilusia, under the alias of the Burgundy Clown, a local street performer whose tricks were labelled next level. Soon, Caesar's name spread throughout the Kingdom, and he was gained audience with the King. Since he now lived his life shrouded behind a white mask, his appearance was none the wiser to the King. Besides, Caesar no longer the runt, in neither height nor weight that he was as a child and the King always underestimated him to be dead by now. It was during this audience, that in an instance, Caesar had shot the King. His bullet was so perfectly timed, that it almost seemed as if they worked in conjunction, the marines raided the Capital of Ilusia to capture the corrupt King. Caesar vanished from the Castle, labelled now as a criminal for his actions against the Ilusia Royalty. Leonardo ascended to King, joining forces with the World Government to cement his rule. This left a bitter taste in Caesar's mouth, which made him ridden for revenge. Colt turned over a series letters from Francisco and the Lalooza Circus to Caesar which erased the bitterness in his heart but left a heavy burden on him to move on from Ilusia. Leonardo dropped the bid on Caesar's head, naming Robert as a national hero, often reparation to any and all of his family members. However, it was too late to win Caesar's heart, his heart was now set on sailing the seas and seeing the world that his true 'family' saw all those years ago before the King had clipped their wings. Colt traveled with him until the next island, the both of them made a promise to meet again in the Grandline, Caesar turned his goal to becoming a Big Name Pirate with enough weight to claim Ilusia as his own.
