He wears a pair of form fitting white pants, light brown leather boots that reach up to his knees, and a pair of white formal gloves. On some occasions, he wears a dark green, wide brimmed hat with a large feather tucked into the band.
Description: Anton is a lithe, yet muscular young man with a healthy complexion. Well proportioned, his facial features are soft, almost feminine in appearance. Rather attractive, his face is rather expressive, almost ideal for the looks of upmost terror he normally has.

Personality: Anton La'croix is the very definition of a nervous wreck. The poor man is constantly on edge, almost to the point at jumping at his own shadow (and at times, even then). The harsh training in the marines had brought the poor man to wits end, and he laments over his situtation constantly. He hates violance and wants nothing more than to live out a quiet, peaceful life. However, while he fears going into combat, he's more afraid of what his superiors would do if he didn't. Thus he throws everything he has into his work, if only to appease them. Because of this, he was an almost encyclopedic knowledge of marine protocol, and a mind that always tries to find loopholes to get him out of doing work.
However, despite his constant fear, deep down Anton really is a kind hearted and caring person. Despite hating his job, and the fear behind it, he'll do his best to defend the innocent, and to help out his comrades. When he's relaxed and calm (which is rare) he's downright pleasant to be around. He tends to play the violin to calm himself, and has an ear for fine music. Cruelty to innocent people, along with very bad music, are the only two things that could actually make Anton angry.

Anton's early life had been rather peaceful at first. He grew up with a loving family and an elder brother, who ran an inn in the Lyneel kingdom. Though a naturally shy boy, Anton was at least well liked by the people, and looked up to his elder brother Basil. When he was sixteen, Basil left to join the marines, craving the adventure and the life that the profession offered. This resulted in Anton falling into the position as the heir to the inn, and was raised by his parents to run the place after they decided to reture.
During those years, Basil would quickly gain renown in the marines. The stories of his exploits would reach back to home, bringing pride to the La'croix name. Anton too felt a growing pride in his older brother, and while he didn't feel like he could ever amount to his level, he was becoming comfortable in his position in life. He was getting the hang of running the inn, and he was beginning to feel some real confidence in himself.
However, that all came crashing down on his twentieth birthday.
News came to them that Basil had died, killed in battle with some viscous pirates. Anton was devastated. He couldn't imagine that his brother was gone. He just always seemed so full of life. But this would only be the beginning of the downward spiral in Anton's life. His parents had gotten used to the prestige their son had given them, and with Basil's death, they decided they needed to keep up the family name. They decided that Anton should join the marines and keep on his brother's legacy. Now, joining the marines was the last thing on Anton's mind, but due to his timid nature, Anton couldn't say no to his parents.
And so, on his twenty first birthday, he was enlisted in the marines.
The next fear years for Anton would be hell. The training was hard, and under any other circumstances, Anton would have been dismissed as a failure. However, the instructor in charge of his training refused to have anyone fail under his watch. As a result, he worked Anton to the bone, and instilled a fear of failure in the boy that would put any fearsome pirate's reputation to shame. As a result, Anton's abilities picked up, fueled by the fear instilled in him by the instructor, at the cost of turning him into a neurotic wreck. It got even worse, as one day, his fellow trainees had slipped what they believed to be a rotten fruit into his food. However, the food in question turned out to be a devil fruit, which they discovered when Anton fell into a training pool and sank like a rock.
With this new power within him, his instructor turned up Anton's training even moreso, determined to make Anton stronger than your average marine, to harness his new power. This training was even more brutal than he had given his regular charges. While it had the benefit of giving Anton a firm understanding of his powers, it left him a thoroughly broken man who was constantly afraid. But so long as he did his job, what's the harm?
Now out of his training, it was time for Anton to begin his 'illustrious' career. And he couldn't be more miserable.
