Drago Loomz

Drago Loomz. Borned in North Blue, in a land called Lvneel. Soon after his birth, he was given to an orphanage. He grown up without parents, up to today, he know nothing about them, but everyone in the town blamed him for being one of the Drago family. He didn't have friends neither, because he was -according to everyone in the town- the son of demons and a weird kid. They gave them the nickname 'Odd-Eyes', because of the weird color of his eyes. The other kids kicked him, spit him for his being, but he hadn't any idea who his parents were, where they are and why he abandoned him. But he didn't want to know why where his parents called demons and what they really did, because he didn't want to be their child. "It's just unfair, what have I done for them. I don't have parents, they killed me inside, I hate them!" - he whispered under a bridge to himself after being defeated by some kids.

One day after someone kicked him from the road while he was in his way, and started crying, he heard a conversation in the pub next to him. Three man spoke to each other. "Did you guys read the newspaper, hahaha! It has begun, the New Era!" The man next to him answered - "So it really exists! That treasure! If we bag it, we will be the richest in this planet!" -, then the third one said: "We will be famous, we could have wealth, fame and power, nobody in this world would be bothering us, hahaha! That's world domination!" Loomz couldn't believe what he heared -"Nobody in this world would be bothering us....!" "World domination...." Loomz was starting to dream: "Yes, if i would conquer the world, i will be rich, nobody will blame me, this is something as...a dream.
A dream. I never had dreams. If i have a dream, my days will be much happier. Something i want to do...yes....I will do it...I will do it....WORLD DOMINATION!!! -he yelled.

From this moment on, he lived his life with a dream. "First i must be stronger, so that i can kick back if they fight me. But I don't want to be here anymore, I must find a place where i can train myself hard. Hmmm... My roommates said that on the other half of the island there is a big dangerous forest, maybe if I learn to survive there, I will survive outside of the forest too." -he thinked. He didn't have money left, so he had no choice but to steal money to buy food, drinks and other important things for his journey. He was very careful, usually he stole mallets from pockets. He didn't stole all the money from the wallets, only a little from them, so that it won't be too suspicious. After one week, he had enough to buy everything. By the time he became quite good in stealing. And so he beganed his journey.

The land was pretty big, after three days he reached the forest. After five minutes walking in there, he was attacked by a giant bear. He almost died after five minutes. Suddenly, a wolf appeared of nowhere, or mainly a wolf. It was really fearful, it growled to the bear, the bear growled back but after a moment of hesitation it disappeared. The wolf seemed angry. Well, at least he thinked it was a wolf, it had wings, what wolf had wings, and around its right ear, two feathers, a white one and a black one. It was fixed there, so it couldn't fall off. It came after Loomz. Loomz became unconscious.

He regained consciousness at a small hill above the forest. "Oh....It was just a dream, those animals tried to ate me."
"I don't eat human meat" -was the answer. It was the wolf, it spoke to the kid. "Whaaaaat??? This has to be a bad dream!" -he pecked himself three times, but he came to the conclusion that this wasn't a dream. "You saved my life, umm... thank you. What..Who are you?" -asked Loomz. "My name's Rero. You don't have to thank me, i didn't want to save you, that bear was just hunting in my territory, I had to frighten it away, and you were just in the way. But tell me, what business have a human doing in this frightening forest?" Loomz told him the truth: "To become stronger...To fulfill my dream, I left my town." "Your dream is starving to death? It seems, you've got nothing. Now get out of here, as you can, you're not strong enough." Loomz yelled: "I will become stronger!  It's not fair that you are so strong already, teach me what you can!" Rero became a bit angry: "Why should I be friendly with a human? I don't trust any human! They killed all my tribe. Even though earlier I was one too, I hate them! I was happy when I ate a fruit of some devil power, since then i became somehow a wolf, but my mind is clear as always. I hate these unwinged humans so much that I stay always in my full wolf form, i don't want even to be similar to those creatures!" "I don't trust people either." - Rero was a bit shocked by that answer of Loomz.  "I  was always alone, we are similar." -Loomz smiled, maybe the first time in his entire life. Rero looked the kid while he was smiling. ("How can he smiling about that, and...what is this, I never saw such a true smile, maybe that kid was hurt too much; well he survived somehow till this point, maybe he got a strong will to live...") -thought Rero. "Get out of my sight, kid!...You need some sleep for tomorrow. It will be a hard day!" Loomz was more excited than he ever was, but he saw Rero to get angry again, so he went sleeping.

The training began, Loomz learned to hunt, to fish and also to protect himself from the fearful big animals out there. He became stronger at the time, and him and Rero began coming closer to each other, although Rero did not told him much about himself, but a friendship was been raising. Loomz's first friend ever, Rero was the first one in his life who did not bother him or causes him pain mentally. Loomz was happy. One day Loomz asked Rero about his past. "Hey, fat wolf, you never told me about your wings, what are these for? Did your tribe had it to?" In Rero, memories were coming back: "Yes, they had it too. You know, I'm originally not from North Blue. I came here from the Grand Line." "The Grand Line? That legendary sea? I want to go there someday, too. But why you came from there here?" -Loomz was curious. "I fled from there, I had no other choises." -Rero sighed. "My homeland was Shandora. It is in the sky." Loomz laughed: "Rero, are you drunk? HAHAHA!" Rero replied: "You jerk, I'm holding know a serious conversation! I decided to leave the place, I wanted to see the world, my views were always different from the others, but they loved me unintentionally. I decided to become a pirate." "A pirate? Really? Were you a bad guy?" -asked Loomz. "You know, when being a pirate, it's not about being a bad guy. Pirates are brave people who have enough guts to see the world, and question it maybe. They are brave enough to follow their dreams!" Loomz was excited again: "Dreams? Then I want to be a pirate too!" Rero continued: "HAHA! We will see, kid! Anyway, I angered a pirate which I shouldn't have to. He chased me through the Grand Line, when I was hiding in Skypiea, he found me, and they killed my family and my friends brutally, I was forced to view it. I thought that only the pirates had this nature, but I was wrong, I found out that all the unwinged people were unreliable and I start to hate them. I fled from the Grand Line too, up to here. I don't know if he's able to find me here too, but very powerful pirates can get information from anywhere in the world." The other wolfes of the hill started to howl. Loomz asked: "Why don't you join them and howl too?" Rero's answer came quickly: "Wolfes are howling to communicate with others, I'm a lonely wolf, I don't want to join them. "Rero...."
Rero smiled: "Don't worry! I'm a lonely wolf but I'm strong, see my tusks around my ear? These make me strong" Loomz was confused: "Um, Rero, these are feathers." Rero roared: "Shut up, these are tusks". The next day Rero saw that Loomz was painting himself. A white and a black streak. "What the heck are you doing? Are you a woman who uses makeup?" -Rero laughed hard. "These are my tusks"- said Loomz.

Time flew away, and soon Loomz became even stronger and faster than Rero.

One day, a pirate crew arrived at the town, people began to panic, this wasn't an ordinary pirates arrive...The earth began to shake, someone really dangerous arrived. Rero behaved strangely, as if he knew what happened. Rero seemed to be very sad. He took Loomz to a place where so far he forbade the entry. "Why are we here? And what the heck is going on with you? You behave strangely, I mean probably just some pirates arrived at the town." Rero was not listening: "Here! I inherited this from my father. This is a master weapon. Please! Take it with you!" Loomz was now really confused: "Rero, what are you talking about? Taking this? Why? And where should I bring it? Is this a boomerang?" Rero ran away. Loomz followed him. Rero started running faster. At the end of the forest, he suddenly stopped. "Rero, wait for me. Where are we going?" Rero turned back to him. "Get out of here!" Loomz was surprised: "What?" "I said get out." Loomz was in shock: "Don't start it again! Don't take me stupid." Rero attacked him, Loomz fall over, Rero brake the silence: "What are doing here someone who wants to accomplish his dreams?" Loomz couldn't say really anything: "But I..." Rero explained him: "Don't misunderstand me! You wanted to be stronger and I helped you a bit. That's all! And now get out!" And so Loomz ran away, tears coming from his eyes: "Dammit! Stupid idiot Rero!" He remembered everything they done together. ("Dammit...at the end...at the end...I stayed alone again!) -he thinked.
Then he heard some noise far away, it came from the hills. Loomz was shocked: "That noise!" "VOUUUUU-VOUUUUUUUU-VOUUUUUUUUUUUUU" It was howling! Only one wolf howled. /"Why don't you howl too, Rero?" "That's communicating between friends. I'm a lonely wolf, I don't want to..."/ -Loomz remembered. He started to cry. "Man, though your a wolf, your howling is horrible." "VOUUUU" "I know Rero, I won't see back! I'm gonna become stronger and find nakamas, I'm gonna be a pirate to fulfill my dream, I will conquer the world, I swear!"

And so Loomz ran away to the other half of the island. To a new town. Meanwhile, Rero was prepared for death, he knew who came to the island. "Long time no see, Behemoth!" "Rero! You knew that it will be a matter of time when we find you. Some unwinged humans betrayed you, and gave us finally your Vivre-Card. Isn't that ironically? You "liked" those humans, don't you? I could have easily command one of my fleet here, they can kill you easily too. But what you've done with me, makes it a personal matter. So...May I finally kill you? Bastard!"
Rero smiled: "Yes, I think so, I won't survive this! But I've finally learned that humans can be trusted too. You can kill me, but you'll never be able to kill my dream!"

Three days have passed since the encounter with the Behemoth. They disappeared from the island. Loomz rested at a port town of Lvneel. Everybody was shocked that 'that' kid was still alive, but their words doesn't bothered him anymore, he started planning something to get a ship. But before that, he wanted to give Rero a final gift before leaving, the gift was a fruit, he find at his parent's house. He was 4 years old, and at that time he wanted to know how the house looked, there he find a treasure chest, which hardly but opened. This fruit was inside. At first sight it was a beautiful fruit, he thinked it was a relic. So he kept it for the years. He went to the bottom of the hill, he wanted to lay it there, but the hill was ruined. He shouted the name Rero. No answer. He shouted his name for twelve hours, nothing. He had given up. He started his mourning. He had no idea what happened there, but he cried so loud that the whole forest could have heared him.

Two hours had gone, he was sitting at the bottom of the hill, somebody appeared, it looked like it was a bandit, but he didn't come to rob or vandalize. He sat next to Loomz, he was calm. "You kid, what are you doing here?" -asked the stranger. "Could have asked the same." -Loomz was tired. "I'm a bandit, i tried to hunt these guy a couple of times two years ago, but I realized that he's strong for me. He said that his name was Rero. These guy...was a good person, I suppose, I don't really know why I'm here. Maybe because I respected him." "I see"-Loomz was happy that he's not the only one respecting him.  "You saw the whole thing, too?"-asked the stranger. "I saw nothing."-was the answer.
After five minutes of silence, Loomz got up, take the fruit, and asked the bandit who did that. The bandit answered that it was someone who is so much stronger than Rero that Loomz couldn't imagine, it was one of those four, a real Behemoth. Loomz didn't understand that, but after all he decided he will kill that man one day, but for now he must regain his power and continue following his dreams and search for nakamas to sail as a pirate.

The bandit invited him to his small bandit house. The man knew who Loomz was, but after mourning Rero, the views of him had changed. Loomz didn't eat for one whole day, he was very hungry. He eat anything the bandit offered him, accidentally after he put down his fruit on the table, he ate it. "IIUUU, that one is disgusting!" The bandit was confused: "That's definitely not mine!" Loomz looked what he was ate, after he found out, he panicked. He realised that he ate the treasure fruit. And then the bandit told him that what he ate wasn't a treasure fruit but a Devil Fruit, and he will never be able to swim. "Is this a joke?"

One year have passed since, Loomz stayed with the bandit (Whose name was revealed to be Gram) to master his new abilities in the woods before he set out to sea. The bandit had robbed many people out there, and he got weapons, too. Loomz admired those weapons, and he read a book about pistols, guns and even swords even though he hates books. In that time he learned to use his Devil-Fruit, the Buki Buki no Mi and evolved techniques basing around his Devil Fruit and Rero, his boomerang weapon which he named after his master and friend.

It was time to begin the fantastic journey...As a pirate.
