The Azure Night

Appearance

The Azure Night JCL8Kyk

Ship Name: The Azure Night
Ship Class: Galleon
Ship Crew: Blue Hair Pirates

Ship Description: An old, Galleon Class trading ship, the Azure Night is essentially a ship that was being sold off by a previous owner due to a debt he had incurred with the world government. A deal from Alexa made the triple decked trading ship hers. From a distance, the ship is intensely recognizable due to its blood red sails. Aside from these, the ship is fairly unique in that its figurehead seems to be of a woman looking upwards through a telescope. This figurehead is carved entirely out of redwood, while the hull of the ship is a combination of painted black elm and redwood itself. The Azure Night has enough rooms in it to individually hold up to one hundred crew members, and still have enough room to actively store goods. Due to The Azure Night being a merchant ship first, it had no real leanings towards any one of the main aspects of a ship. However, due to discussions between Alexa and Edwynne, the ship has been upgraded multiple times, making it hold emphasis on durability and speed over offensive abilities. As such, The Azure Night is a ship that has been redesigned to focus on outlasting another ship, rather than overpowering it.

Bottom Deck: The Cargo Hold/Cells The bottom deck, unlike the decks above it, is purely meant to store cargo. Though this deck has also been retrofitted with cells to contain people who have wronged others among the crew. As of late, these cells have been upgraded, and the bars and frames of these cells cannot be bent even by the physically strongest member of the crew-Edwynne Wright. Before, this area mostly existed as a sort of diffusing agent for arguments, and really was more of a place that Alexa sent people to cool down. However, with these newly reinforced cells, Alexa could actually feasibly hold nearly any prisoner that could be found in the blues. Naturally, these two areas are separated by a set of locked doors that only two people possess a key to.

The first door is only able to be unlocked by a key that only Alexa herself holds, while the other door is only able to be unlocked by a second, nigh identical key that will be given to whomever she appoints to be the crew's treasurer. For now, she holds both keys, as none of her crew have currently proven to be trustworthy enough to bestow the second key upon. The first key unlocks the door to the retrofitted prison within the ships bowels, while the second key opens up to the massive cargo hold within the ship itself. Within this cargo hold, there are several chests of varying sizes that have been built into the walls of the Treasury, allowing for many things to be stored. One of these chests actually has a dial built into it that allows for refrigeration, allowing for any Devil Fruits that are found in the crew's adventures to be stored. This particular chest was rather expensive, due to the rarity of dials in the blues.

The Second Deck: Living Quarters/Galley The second deck of The Azure Night is perhaps the largest of the three decks. This is due to the fact that it not only is host to every single one of the hundred rooms that the ship itself holds, but also due to the fact that it is host to the galley itself. The second deck itself is of a rather strange makeup. Upon first entering the second deck, there is a very definite drop that is guarded by a waist level handrail. To either side, there is an open air hallway that leads past dozens of rooms. At the end of each of these hallways is a wooden staircase. This leads down to the next level, and is identical to the previous one. This pattern follows for another level. However, at the end of this level's wooden staircases is a large, open area of the deck itself, with tables aplenty, and a fully functional kitchen. This is the galley of the ship, and always seems to be fully stocked, due to the ships commercial ties. Aside from Alexa herself, every member of the crew lives on this level of the ship. The entrance to the third deck is at the south end of the galley, and has a very strongly built door.

The First Deck: The Command Center and Other Essentials The first deck is perhaps the most important deck of all however, as it holds the offices of every single important crew member. Coming down from the upper deck, a swift turn to the left will lead directly into the Doctor's office, which is kept completely sterile to serve as a helpful place to tend to the sick. Further down on this side is the Navigator's room, which has various instruments and maps to help Alexa and her navigators guide the ship through to its next course. In fact, the doors on the left side of this deck all lead to the offices of other necessary crew members.

On the right however, the various rooms all lead to different places. There is no less than three separate reading nooks, a room that is quite obviously built to play cards in, and there is even a room that holds a small room to train with weaponry such as blades in, while a separate room exists to practice with firearms, in spite of Alexa's distaste for them. There are also several rooms throughout this deck and the third deck that holds the ship's assortments of cannon. At the very end of this deck is a door that is larger than any other on the ship. This door leads to Alexa's own quarters, which are bigger than most, but really that only serves to give her a bit more than just a bed and a desk. In truth, her room isn't much more lavish than the other rooms on the ship, only really possessing a desk, a bed, a place to store her instruments, and two exceedingly comfortable chairs, for when she needs to be diplomatic with another crew.

Upper Deck: Not much to be said here really. Its the same as pretty much every upper deck on every merchant vessel.

Moved for Pioneer Updates. (To be honest not sure why, but for that reason Gray shall look this over.)

Easy Bump was easy, right Gray?

(Also, for your sake Brood, I was told that if I was shunted up in the pioneer bonus rankings, my ship would be upgraded to T2 as well to reflect the bonus)
