Shadow D. Shade

Shade was born in Nanohana, a port-town in the South of Alabasta.

His father was the Chief of a tribe which he got overthrown from when Shade was born. Shade's father got killed during this rebellion which caused Shade's mother to pick him up and get all of their belongings as fast as possible. She knew if they stayed they would've been killed before Shade could get of age to plot revenge. They fled Alabasta as quick as a Seaking could eat a prawn.

They soon found way to an island called Baterilla which is located in the South Blue. Shade and his mother had settled in Baterilla and lived there up until Shade's mother passed away shortly after his 16th birthday due to an unknown illness. This had a huge impct on Shade, he continued to live on the island for another 2 years taking part in illegal underground fights trying to deal with his anger and depression. In this time he studyed many different forms of martial arts. Shade often would take his self into the jungle with no food or water, and train for a solid week trying to survive at the same time. It was on one of these training sessions when he came across an odd looking fruit. This fruit was orange with flame components and many swirls. Not knowing if he should take a bite or not, but being so hungry he couldn't resist. He thought screw it and took a bite. He had never tasted anything so bad in all his entire life, but within minutes Shade was turning parts of his body into fire. With his new found Logia abillities & little left on Baterilla for him, he decided to hit the open seas and head back into the Grand Line on an adventure to become King of the Pirates!
