Middle Name/Initial: O.
Last Name: Nox
Epithet: Sanpaku | Imp | The Azure Pheasant
Birthdate: July 11th, 1804

Profession: Navigator / Atlas Composer / Book Collector - Picked up the profession trying to find his way back to his home kingdom, and always showed in interest in it afterwards. Studying the sea swells surrounding Lvneel was always intriguing to him, especially in the North, which is prone to colder weather. The fastest routes are often better when travelling at sea, with potential for ice and snow disturbing voyages. Castor's life goal is compose an Atlas that contains maps and charts of places he's visited, more so, that of Treasure Maps.
Physical Appearance
Height: 5'9ft
Weight: 175lbs
Hair Style: Long Spiky Hair
Hair Color: Snow/White Black
Eye Color: Red Eyes
Scars: Horizontal Scar - Starting from the eye on his forehead down to under his left eye. About four inches in length.
Clothing and Accessories:
- Before Lvneel Conquest:
- Being dressed in traditional Japanese wear since a child, Castor almost subconsciously gravitated towards this style of dress. His kimono is seen bearing either clouds or the symbol of his family often resembling that of a comma, scattered across the garment. At his waist, he carries out of habit, a white gripped nodachi. Straw Sandals, with white cotton socks, for comfort in mobility during quick step ins and movement. Due to the concern of his third eye, he's seen wearing a headband bearing the Kanji - 'Truth'. The center of his headband carries an eye-patch compartment, to avoid his eye getting overall exposed to sunlight or the elements, such as dust and water.
Still gravitating towards kimono wear, Castor wears a black kimono with a purple cloak covered in the 'comma' symbol, essentially, the Three Eye Tribe he comes from trademark symbol. Sandals crafted from the finest straws, after his ascension to the throne. On his back, wrapped in a white cloth, Zaigo is sealed, using several talisman's to repress the weapon's natural wicked aura. No longer bearing a headband, Castor's hair has grown out to lengths that naturally hides his third eye. Unless he decides to tie his hair in buns or straighten it out, then his other eye is completely undetected.
Description: For his height and weight, Castor is very physically well built, constantly training his body after the death of Jules, has given him the new obsession of constantly free hand training to keep his instincts sharp. Dimples can be examined around his nose, adding character to his almost distinct naturally plain face. Often wearing his hair messily, for the most part, Castor cares about his outward appearance, fixing himself at any tangent possible. His hair naturally spikes and holds in place from the static due to his Goro Goro No Mi, it gives the Pirate Captain, a more eccentric look.
The Past
Main Traits:
- Obsessive: Whether it's collecting rare books or splurging on Rice Wine, Castor has a habit of picking up new things to become 'fanatics' of, everywhere he goes. It goes to extremities that are often borderline unhealthy and sporadic. One of which is the habit of chewing gum he'd picked up during his time of Flevance.
- Outspoken: Not the loudest voice in the room but for certain his opinion must be articulated clearly, and firm. As reserved as he was in his childhood, spending time with his mentors gave him the proper practice to interject on personalities who are extremely difficult to deal with. The perfect counter loud mouths or know-it-all personality types.
- Distrustful: Call a spade, a spade. Whether it be due to his race, or the betrayal of his former suitors, Castor doesn't take the words of any one at face value. 'Everyone has an angle.', a phrase that Nox uses as pretense for anything anyone tells him. Especially, government officials and pirates, the most likely to betray you on the open seas.
- Violent: When it comes to combat, Castor has quite a bit of a mean streak. He'll use excessive violence to finish his fights as quick as possible, with no care for whether his opponent lives or dies. This is a complete counterpart to his general personality, snarky, witty at times but most times, extremely daft to the real world constraints. Comes with the turf when you lived estranged from social customs for years but he's been learning to curve his aggressions... as much as possible.
- Dry Humor: It's almost painful at times to listen to, if you're not into that kind of thing. Castor has always had an awkward since of humor, he's often dropping borderline horrible, at times, extremely so, jokes that most people wouldn't even crack a smile at. However, if he ever gets a smile out of you from this, grantee to see the broadest of smiles on his part.
- Pride: Castor's extremely prideful in the sense that once he's set out to accomplish something, it must be done in the way he dictates as 'correct'. It's this pride that puts him in situations with enemies much more violent and hostile than himself, though, once agitated, he's known to have a violent streak.

Often aims for strikes that will give him an advantage in the late game, and almost always avoids putting himself at risk, unless it's for someone he's deemed worthy.
- Non-Combat: Minimalist. Won't go out of his way to engage conversation generally unless necessary or a commonality is present. Often very calm and collected, unless injustices that betray his keen since of 'justice' occur. Hypocritical for a pirate who doesn't mind taking others lives, his rule of thumb, Life and Death are constant occurrences in life. He's very open towards other races outside of his own, which is almost everyone in the open world but still holds some bias towards humans after previous experiences.

ACT I - Sins Of The Kin
Monologue wrote:
Justice. It's a word that's almost taboo to my kind. In the name of their ideals, The World Government have created a world that has greatly scorned my people. It's left quite the bitter taste in my mouth... I guess. At one point, I would've murdered every single human being that these eyes laid themselves upon... but Jules. She was my Madonna. The only person who truly showed me kindness in this world.
Castor, promptly named so as a result of having two parents that we're fanatics of constellations, was born at Three Eye Tribe's hidden village in the New World, on an island called Gideon. Castor didn't spend many of his developmental years on the island, as his parents believed that staying in their motherland too long would've stunted their thirst for adventure. Against many of the Elder's Warnings, the family of three set off towards the North Blue, in search of a much more peaceful life. It's long been since the passing of the Pirate King, that slave traders and pirates alike are constantly in search for Gideon, to obtain a Three Eye Tribesman of their own. Why? Some for power, others for much sicker perversions but in these times, the Blue's seemed a much safer bet.
Enter the Nox family, their travels were far and hard, being constantly raided by pirates and looters alike on the New World Seas. Hopping from pirate ship to pirate ship of crew's who'd failed to make a name for themselves, and with too much pride to bow to a Yonko, they opted to return to their home seas. Eventually, the couple, with Castor, age one at the time, arrived in the North Blue, settling on the island - Lvneel. Almost immediately, Karl Nox, Castor's Father and Expert Geologist fell into the care of the countries ruling family, The Montblanc's. With the King's kind grace, to protect them from the racism experienced in the outside world, the family began living as councils to the King, Karl being able to offer his input on the King's secret of project of 'reshaping' his nation.Castor's Mother, Ellen was a doctor who harvested and grew many rare herbs, a herbalist of sorts; who incorporates rare leaves into her medical practice. The family lived peacefully, it was definitely a change from the rigid conditions on Gideon, and much more so than their small stint on the Open Seas.Ten Years Later
Between the library and Knight's Chambers, Castor fulfilled his daily duties as a Squire to the Knight Jules Montblanc, eldest daughter of the Kingdom, and most powerful Knight in the Kingdom, while reading almost every book available in the Castle's Library. Curious about his kind, his homeland, and even more so about the world, the reserved Castor spent many days turning many a page.
Jules was a wild spirit. She renounced her nobility as soon as she came of age. Refused to marry, toppled many men who we're twice her size, and fought like a savage. She garnered the nickname Freya, for her wild side on the battle field against her Kingdom's enemies. A lore fitting for a woman who bore the Middle Name of 'D' from her mother, who was the only concubine allowed to keep her child. Not like the King or his family had much say in the matter, as Jules Mother was a famous pirate, whose love of violence and fornication matched any free child of the sea in this era. Rumors spread around the court that she had even forced herself on the King but that's a story for another time.
Jules taught Castor how to fight, specifically with two weapons, the standard long-sword and the spear. Castor got the idea of using a spear from one of his favorite adventure series but struggled in the beginning stages learning, as he seemed to have no aptitude with weapon-styles. However, with Castor's obsessive nature, much like that of his reading habits, practiced day in and day out until results blossomed. Still unable to match Freya's Strength but then again, who could? Besides, Castor was only ten, a shrimp at that! Jules was like Castor's Aunt, as Ellen and her were best friends every since she had begun treat Jules rare 'condition'. One day, news came to the Kingdom, a Celestial Dragon would come to visit the island of Lvneel. The Dragon demanded to live in the Castle's Walls but this idea brought immense anxiety to the King. They've been known to collect, especially this Celestial Dragon, a man known as Sinclair, rare races as slaves. Under the World Government's banner, denying a Celestial Dragon anything is a heinous crime. Kingdom's have been destroyed for less when it comes to them, disgrace is unacceptable.
So it came to be, the Celestial Dragon and his posse landed in Lvneel. His men filled the pubs and brothels, and his grace threw a banquet the Night of their arrival. Almost instantly, without fail, Sinclair found great interest in Castor's Mother, Ellen. Declaring his interest publicly in front the entire court, the whole room froze.Sinclair wrote:
I want her! She's to be my slave... Maybe even my lover. I haven't tasted her flavor yet.
Licking his lips disgustingly, he laughed behind his obscure fishbowl themed helmet that prevented him from breathing the same air as commoners. No one moved, his personal guard, members of the Cipher Pol closed in to obtain the woman. Moments before their hands came into contact with Ellen, Jules lobbed off one of the agents limbs with one swing of her mighty long-sword. She fought valiantly, for as long as she could, however, the Cipher Pol in both numbers and strength suppressed her, and the execution date was set. Ellen was captured. Karl and Castor were hidden, and the King's council mediated with the Celestial Dragon to avoid any more World Government involvement, under one condition. The King's agreement in sending his eldest and only daughter, to be executed.
Once Castor found out the news, he was immensely crushed. Several times, he'd ventured outside of the castle's walls without his parents knowledge, only to be met with harsh stares and scornful taunts. The children in the capital called him, Sanpaku, which referenced his additional eye. Often singing songs about him being an omen to the town, and anyone who befriended him. However, never once did Jules shun him away, even in her own personal frustrations at Castor's weakness. Rushing to her holding cell, Castor, using his knowledge of the castle's architecture began to plot his own scheme in freeing Jules. It'd fail, Jules refused to leave her cell, as she knew the whole Kingdom's future rested on her shoulders, whether she liked it or not. Finally, the day of the execution came.
With thousands in attendance, Jules was permitted to speak her final words to the people of the capital and Lvneel on a hold. Transmitted locally, and pirated by several revolutionary army probes, the heart felt speech and image of the majestic knight's final say captivated the heart's of many. In attendance, with tears pouring from his eyes, and snot dripping rapidly from his nose, the weeping Castor couldn't remove his eyes from the injustice that was about to take place.Jules wrote:
One day... We'll live in a world governed by just rulers. Not men who parade as Gods, or mortals who dance around in worthless things such as nobility. A world where a Knight whose given her blood, sweat and body to her Kingdom - people, only to be rewarded with coal. Castor! The world is filled with people who will love you for you... Much like I do your Papa and Mama. We're not all heartless monsters. Rich Tyrants. Corrupt Shit Bags who can't pull the trigger themselves. Live Free! Whatever it takes.
People will always fear what they don't understand-
At the final bits of her speech, the sound of Jules head rolling onto the floor signaled the end. However, what was grotesque to the audience in attendance was not the woman's brutal murder, nor was it her revolutionary words. What was forever burned in the people's mind, was the final image of the Knight smiling, even in the face of her imminent death. After Jules execution, bored with the Kingdom's melancholy feel, Sinclair left the Kingdom and island the next week. Leaving several Cipher Pol agents behind in Lvneel to spy on the King's future endeavors. Castor never saw his Mother again after this day. Bonded to the Celestial Dragon, the woman was kept in his care but was beaten to death less than two days later. Feeling betrayed by the Kingdom, Karl began making movements to escape at sea with Castor but on the day of the voyage to leave Lvneel, the only person who'd be on the small rowboat vessel, would be indeed Castor. As the vessel floated further and further away from the capital's port dock, a part of Castor died in that moment. Along with his parents death and the lost of his mentor, adrift at sea, Castor jumped off the boat, unable to swim, and attempted to drown himself.ACT II - The Hermit & The Pauper Orphan
Waking up, brought ashore by the oceanic currents, Castor's suicide attempt failed, and it was at this moment, realizing he was still alive, the ten year old child, wept. A spear, a backpack of dampened books and tattered light weight armor were the only things left in the child's possession. However, the next meeting would've been nothing but pure coincidence. The spark needed to reignite the youth's broken spirit, and give birth to one of the World's Worse Pirates - Castor O. Nox. Castaway, on the shores of Swallow Island, a former monk does his morning stroll of the beach as per usual. Malnourished, tattered and mentally broken, the Monk retrieves the passed out youth, and brings him back to his shack, within the mountains.
The man's name is Victor Newport, a former big named pirate from the Pirate King's Glory days. Vic, as he'd force many to refer to him as affectionate, renounced his fame, and joined a monastery to repent for his blasphemous days. However Newport never regretted his decisions, and used what little medical skills he had from his time on the seas to save the boy. From this moment onward, for the next three years, Castor lived as a mute. Whether by choice, trauma or otherwise, the child refused to speak. Newport would come to the boy everyday, and share stories of his adventures in hopes of breaking him out of his trance.
Finally, three years later, Castor spoke his first words. Newport shared with him a story that was so horrendous the child exclaimed his disbelief. It was at this moment that Castor and Newport's bond developed. Newport was often referred to as 'Bloody Port', the famous Bloody Port Incident was known through the North Blue. Flevance, the heads of twenty-two nobles were lined across Flevance Port Station on steaks, after Newport's crew had been accused of pillaging the port town. However, Newport revealed that this incident was stage by the World Government to get their hands into the North Blue Kingdoms, much like, what had happened to him in Lvneel.
Not interested much in politics, Castor wanted to repay the King and the Montblanc's for their kindness over the years, and shared this interest with Newport. Not a fan of nobles but understanding Castor's position, he explained to him what had happened in the World, during his three years as a mute. Lvneel after the execution of their eldest daughter had entered in a period of prosperity from the Celestial Dragon's involvement on the island. A darker ring of human trafficking had begun, under the King's nose of course, as Sinclair was doubling as a Underworld Broker, and had been for awhile. Newport garnered this information from an old pirate friend, who had joined the Revolutionary Army, and wanted Newport's help.
Stunned, Castor resolved to return to Lvneel one day to help liberate Lvneel. However, Newport explained that the Celestial Dragon had long left, and left his most trusted slave to run the operation. Rebelling against him would've been seen as become 'Judas', as the Celestial Dragon's word was absolute. Not afraid of the consequences, Castor began to plot his revenge against the Celestial's. Newport offered Castor the chance to join the Revolutionaries through his contact but Castor denied. The rebels wanted freedom, and also cared about the lives of the innocent. Castor saw this as a distraction, though not into unnecessary murder, for his plan to successful, he knew many people would suffer, at worst die.
Seeing his resolve, Newport took Castor under his wing, never discriminating against him for his race, and trying to save his heart from the darkness that had shrouded over him after Jules death. For the next fourteen years, cut off from all contact, the duo trained. This would lead to the two incidents that would garner Castor Supernova Status: The Ogre Slasher Incident & The Burning of Port Sinclair.ACT III - The Misadventures of Sanpaku & Port
Fourteen Years Later
After finishing up his training with Newport, Castor begged him to travel with him to Flevance, which was the nearest island from their current position. Newport was adamant of not leaving Swallow Island, stating his time in the public eye had long passed. He'd rather spend his time drinking what's left of his liver into oblivion. However, Castor promised Newport that if he'd joined up with him temporarily, he'd get to drink all the wine he desired. The Ogre Slasher Incident:Official News Report wrote:
A one eyed entity has been appearing around Flevance murdering innocent citizens who wander the city streets at night. Strangely, all of the victims were left with puncture wounds in their heart, and the Lvneel Family symbol carved into their back. Strange things are going in Flevance, and it's been connected to the Rookie Pirate who has been rumored to be the slasher, Castor O. Nox, Leader of the Crew calling themselves the Nox Pirates. Strangely, all of the victims are connected to the Flevance Royal Family.
Strange things... Strange indeed.

Pure Chaos has ensued today in Lvneel's County Side - Hibiscus Town. The Newly Built Sinclair Port has been set ablaze. The current death count is around 100. The port was built in the rural country-side, to store Celestial Dragon's Sinclair's 'Items of God.' Several hundreds of millions of items have been stolen, marine vessels in-charge of the port have been gravely damaged, and most importantly, several slaves of Sinclair placed to guard that town have been set free from their shackles.
The Celestial Dragon is set to return to Lvneel within the month with Marine Assistance to investigate the incident. At this current point in time, due to the similarities in the gashes left on the burnt victims, the Nox Pirate duo of former New World Pirate - Victor 'Bloody Port' Newport, and Three Eye Pirate Captain, Castor Nox are placed in the center of this incident. Reports have placed Nox at the scene of the fire, burning several World Government flags. Bounty Hunters from all across the North Blue are gathering in Lvneel. More news as the details come in.
Bounty set at 250,000,000.

Castor O. Nox wrote:Castor O. Nox
Basic Character Information
Starting Bonus: Super Rookie | [Starting Bonus Roll]
First Name: Castor
Middle Name/Initial: O.
Last Name: Nox
Epithet: Sanpaku | Imp | The Azure Pheasant
Birthdate: July 11th, 1804
Gender: Male
Race: Three-Eye
Faction: Pirate
Being dressed in traditional Japanese wear since a child, Castor almost subconsciously gravitated towards this style of dress.

Unique laugh: Gashi-Gashi | Paku Paku-u (Angry Laugh)
Hometown: North Blue - Lvneel
Personality:
- In-Combat: Extremely violent and quick paced, all of his attacks are calculated but there's a hidden undertone of aggression. He's not a fan of fair fights, everything is square in combat to him.
