Insignia/Jolly Roger: The initial Jolly Roger of the Blue Rose Pirates was a poor painting done by Cobalt which just looked like smears, eventually one of the crew painted a new one to appear like a skull with a sword and bone crossed beneath it using a blue rose to make an eye patch. The flag is now rendered a tattered skeleton of it's former glory though it still flies on Cobalt's new ship the Luna Rosa.
Motive: The motive as laid out by the sole member and captain of the pirates is to reform a crew with trustworthy individuals of particularly strong badassery, and to take them towards the new world to challenge those that had betrayed her.
