• Energy Requirement- While a user who is pure of heart has no trouble using the Kirin fruit, those who are impure, or outright evil, must spend a large amount of mental energy battling with the Kirin for control. Once the user has run out of energy (generally at the end of a combat), they will be completely exhausted and require one or more hours of rest to return to the strength of their normal form, only after several hours of rest and relaxation can the user then attempt to wrestle for control with their hybrid form again.
  
• Afflicted: Flames of Judgment- An evil user of the flames of judgement will be eaten away themselves, however haki can be used to mitigate the speed at which the fire is able to do so. If the flames are allowed to devour the user without resistance, the evil-user will suffer internal burns that can only be properly treated via surgery.
  
• Dietary Restriction: Meat- The user cannot intentionally eat meat, and if they do so accidentally, or are forced to, their digestive system becomes violently ill and they derive no nutritional value from the food.

[warn]I have to say that the Kirin was a poor choice for Doji, ultimately. Especially considering some of the abilities that you're trying to grant it. And for a fruit that seemingly has a will of its own (which is supposedly a thing with zoan fruits anyway), it seems all the more counterintuitive for the fruit to go to a user so unsuitable for it.

And, overall, I felt that a few of the abilities you associated with this fruit were a shoddy interpretation of the mythical creature's abilities.

The Qilin supposedly has the ability to tell between good and bad people. You could've played into that to grant Doji that extra-perceptive ability instead of the "cures blindness" nonsense.

You could've played into the fact that the Qilin could breathe fire by doing the same. Instead, you turned it into the more edgy "coats his fists with fire" thing.[/warn]

• Purity of Body- In their Zoan transformation forms, the fruit user's body is freed from the effects of all physical imperfections and ailments; while this does not affect cosmetic damage (such as scars), or parts of the body that are missing (the user cannot regrow lost limbs), [dass]it does return functionality to parts of the body that have been crippled (such as blind eyes or broken limbs)[cmt]This feels like another weird cop-out for a character flaw that you added (against my recommendation, mind you) that you have not been able to play well. My expectation was that you improve your narration when writing from a blind character. Not that you give him a cure that effectively fixes his blindness so you can avoid working on improving Doji's narration.
  
  Not to mention this runs counter to the idea that the fruit doesn't cure permanent disabilities.[/cmt][/dass]. • Horn of Higher Calling- The Kirin has a single antler that sprouts from the left side of its skull, this horn is borderline unbreakable and courses with gleaming golden energy. In "head-to-head" conflicts the kirin has a devastating weapon.
  
• Flames of Judgment- The Kirin's flames of judgment appear as black-and-white flickering fires that sprout from the fruit user's wrists and ankles (in hybrid form). The user can employ these flames by coating their melee attacks, causing nearby enemies to burn from within, or by breathing the flames of judgment as a breath weapon. When used as a breath weapon, the volume of flames that the user can breathe is enormous. The flames do not burn what they devour from the outside in, but rather from the inside out. Though they do require oxygen to burn, they are extremely difficult to smother out and the flames of judgment’s intensity is proportional to the wickedness of what they are burning; they would simply dissipate if wreathed around an innocent child, they would only mildly burn a generally morally upstanding but flawed person, they would harshly burn a common criminal, and they would viciously incinerate a wanton murderer, tyrant, or war criminal.
  
• Pass Without Trace- An effect of this Devil Fruit that persists even into the user’s base form is the inability to leave footprints or crush living things inadvertently beneath one's feet (the user can still intentionally destroy things with their feet).
  
• Prance of Swirling Cloud- When using their Zoan transformations the user of this fruit can jump upon clouds that appear beneath their feet, effectively granting them access to the “skywalk” technique. This can also allow the Kirin to mimic the effect of walking on water by walking on the clouds directly above a body of water.
  
• Chimerical Majesty: Dragon- The Kirin is a beast with dragonlike scales, and a face resembling that of a stag with the brows of a dragon; though its majesty hardly compares to that of a true dragon, its imposing presence and the sheen of its scales are reminiscent of the scaly beasts of legend. As the scale color of the Kirin-fruit user is dictated by the dominant pigment of the user’s keratin, Doji’s scales are red. As opposed to true dragons, whose sheer power and durability are beyond the comprehension of most mortals, their Kirin cousin relies on its speed and healing abilities to compensate for its (comparatively) lower durability and strength; they pale in comparison to true Dragons in a number of other ways, their Zoan transformation is much smaller– taking on an ungulate shape not much larger than the user’s base form, they are far more susceptible to critical damage from skilled attackers (as opposed to dragons who are notoriously difficult to damage at all), their breath weapon is weaker and will lose in a clash against any true dragon, and their manner of flight is personal to the Kirin (and any riders) not allowing them to hold up large structures.
  
• Chimerical Strength: Behemoth & Leviathan- The Kirin’s body carries the strength of a number of powerful terrestrial mammals, including the stag, ox, giraffe, and mammoth. The stomping of the mythical beast’s hooves is devastating when it acts against its gentle nature, the raw strength afforded to the user of this fruit is sufficient to allow them to lift and carry disproportionately heavy weights of up to 777 tons. In order to avoid needlessly killing weak opponents in combat the user must intentionally hold themselves back; typically this is easy for the good-hearted users of the Kirin fruit, however Doji finds it extremely difficult.
  

The following are weaknesses of the fruit, and it's current user:

• Form Inaccessibility- The Kirin will not allow a user who is not pure of heart to use the fruit's full Zoan transformation unless the user's will is exponentially stronger than that of the fruit (Must have Ascended Conqueror's Haki), thus, Doji cannot currently gain access to this form.
  
• Energy Requirement- While a user who is pure of heart has no trouble using the Kirin fruit, those who are impure, or outright evil, must spend a large amount of mental energy battling with the Kirin for control. Once the user has run out of energy (generally at the end of a combat), they will be completely exhausted and require one or more hours of rest to return to the strength of their normal form, only after several hours of rest and relaxation can the user then attempt to wrestle for control with their hybrid form again.
  
• Afflicted: Flames of Judgment- An evil user of the flames of judgement will be eaten away themselves, however haki can be used to mitigate the speed at which the fire is able to do so. If the flames are allowed to devour the user without resistance, the evil-user will suffer internal burns that can only be properly treated via surgery.
  
• Dietary Restriction: Meat- The user cannot intentionally eat meat, and if they do so accidentally, or are forced to, their digestive system becomes violently ill and they derive no nutritional value from the food.

The most notable of these features include:

• Two large sets of fine scale-covered wings that allow for particularly adept and aerobatic flight.
  
• An extra set of arms.
  
• Curved, talon-like claws.
  
• Sensitive antennae that enhance both a sense of smell and spatial perception during flight.
  
• A long, strong, proboscis-like tongue.
  
• Large compound eyes which are incredibly perceptive of even slight changes in light.
  
• Pheromones which, to most, just give the user a sweet or flowery scent but seem to make bees particularly fond of the user (though this does not allow the user any actual control over bees.)
